Anyone every NOT like their rental home?

I hate making decisions! All of the homes look OK, as do the different subdivisions. And people all seem to like where they have stayed.

So, have you ever rented a home that you did not like? Was it too far to travel to Disney? Was the home in bad repair? They all seem OK (except for a few with really hideous decorating.)

Also, have your ever rented a home and negotiated a deal to come back a few months later. We have APs burning a hole in my pocket, and I'd like to make good use of them.

You don't really need the very best possible home. You just need a really good one. And, lots of them are really good.

The only one I probably wouldn't go back to was out on 27, north of 192, and only because it was a bit farther than I'd prefer to be from now on. The home itself was lovely.

Brian you are spoiled.

there were complaints about think a townhouse complex - the person did not sharing the pool with others not staying there. and the lack or no security were her big complaints - if remember.

It all really comes down to personal preference.

We rented down the HWY27 and the home was ok but we didnt like being down that area as it is a bit further out. Then we rented a pool home closer, off the 192, but it was up for sale (only found that out near our arrival date!) and the home was very tired looking so we would stay away from anything that is up for sale.

Everyone has different ideas about what they like and don't like - only you can make the decision to ensure you get exactly what you want.

I've been in a few that were a little disappointing when I first got there but not too bad. Just a little worn. But since I'm only going to be staying for a week or two then it's no big deal. As Brian said, it doesn't have to be perfect.
On the whole they have been good, some even great.

my niece and her family rented this house it is off 27(about 2 miles off 192) but she stated it was very nice and took about 15 minutes to get to most Disney Parks. My DD also went with them and she liked the house alot but she is only 13
