Anyone ever used this book?

I have never used that one. I love my Birnbaums Guide. They also make one for kids written by kids. My girls really enjoyed reading it and felt more a part of the planning when they could discuss a particular ride. Have a great trip!

I bought it for DD when we went on our last trip - she was 7. It is a really neat book, and she's an avid reader/writer. I thought that she would get more out of it than she did. There are places to write thoughts about attractions, and if you child hasn't been, it is a good way to introduce attractions. There are ratings for kids - "dark", "scary", etc., but the WDW for Kids By Kids has a similar approach.

Guide to the Magic also has places for signatures, and a section for around the WS at Epcot with stickers (colored like the country's flag). They can put the stickers for every country the visit as well as most of the attractions.

DD is 9, now, and I will find her sometimes with the book out and reading it.

It also can be used as an autograph book, but it is kind of big to drag around the parks.

Let me know if that answers your questions! (I might go grab it from DD's room and see if I missed anything...)

ETA: I have the book in front of me, and the other thing that I forgot to mention was the journal part. Remembering back, I think that I was hoping that she would get into the journal because I can't seem to! It has a place for the date, weather, temp, attractions visited, park(s) visited, transportation used, souvenirs, what/where I ate, favorite things, hidden Mickey's, etc.

I got it for my boys, 8 and 10. Honestly, what I used it for was to read the ride descriptions to them so that we could decide what was too scary or too babyish.

Personally, I think the book is awesome. I like the stickers to show what you rode/saw, and I like that your child can write what they thought of it. It would be great to pull out in several years, right before another trip to see what they liked this time and then how they thought of it the next time.

That said, I couldn't see spending the money on two of them, so the boys had to share. We didn't write in it or use the stickers. Part of that is b/c my 10 yo is dyslexic and reading and writing are horrible trials for him. Trying to have him write in that type of keepsake book would be useless - he could fit about 5 words in the boxes. It didn't seem fair to let his younger brother have the book to fill out either, when the older one didn't have a countepart. So, I'm not sure what to do with it. It would be much easier if I had kids who were interested in scrapping / journaling / whatever.

Now, I did see one other kid in the park with this book. He was using his time in line to fill out pages and seemed to really be enjoying it. I would put him at around 11 or 12.
