Anyone ever used Sam's Club to get a birthday cake?

I like Sam's cakes too but I really must recommend the cupcakes from Costco they are VERY inexpensive and HUGE!!!! I know you said that they just have a generic princess...is there a way that you could buy Disney Princess decorations and decorate the cupcakes? Its totally worth it:goodvibes

Love the Sam's Club white cake with butter cream frosting.

The only problem is the size. Their smallest size is pretty big.

I don't think the Wal-Mart cakes are the same as the Sam's Club cakes. The Wal-Mart cakes are good but not as good. The frosting doesn't taste the same.
(Of course, someone could prove me wrong.)

Also, you can get a smaller cake at Wal-Mart.

Just to add to everyone else's opinion... I must agree that Sam's cakes are very yummy! For the size, the quality, the taste, and the prize I think it is hard to beat. I have had a couple situations where they spelled a name wrong. My neice's name is Hallise Claire. I went over and over with them over the phone making sure they spelled the name correctly... of all things they spelled Claire wrong, not Hallise. It was " Hallise Caire".. :confused3

Anyway! ;) I don't think you will be disappointed with a Sam's cake! :goodvibes

Mmmm....cake. Sam's club cake is good. Walmart cake is good. Hannaford cake is good....

Seriously though, my sister had sheet cakes from Sam's for her 2nd wedding. They were beautiful and tasted great, and we didn't have to have tiny "wedding cake" pieces. A friend got her wedding cake from Walmart (same company as Sam's). Again, very tasty.

I think you'll do fine with a Sam's cake. Can you mail me a piece?

oh yes I forgot to add the cakes are HUGE!!!

Cake from Sam's Club is the only cake I'll eat. I'm a cake snob. Lol.

Every year for my birthday - all I want is KFC and Sam's Club cake with buttercream frosting. And the NEXT day I go on my annual diet! :rotfl:
