Anyone ever used Alpha Rooms Com.?

Have been checking on prices for first week in June (as DD has 2 weeks off school then) and Airtours want £990 for a week in Fuerteventura....the same place that we went to last June for £660!! Found same hotel with alpharooms.com dirt cheap....can do the whole thing, with Airtours flights for £600. Just not sure about parting with money for a room to a company that i have never heard of.

Not used Alpha Rooms but used Find Rooms, very similar website, and they were fine in 2005.

I've not used them but I have heard of them. I think they used to be called something else and a friend used them then and had no problems.

Just to update you - I have booked with them! They were cheaper by about £20 (which will pay for the taxi to and from the airport!!) Let's just keep our fingers crossed that there is a room for us on 2nd June

I used them for hotel opposite Disneyland CA. last Oct. and have just booked with them for 25 nights in Orlando this August. They have some great prices sometimes. This August is in the Courtyard by Marriott LBV, everywhere else I looked wanted at least £1125 direct with Marriott was £1,613. Alpharooms £675 less 6% £25.38/night is a bargain for here.
They are based in Sheffield, used to be called Alpha-beds.com and employ over 40 people.
You will have found out you dont have to pay all upfront just a deposit then rest 5 weeks before travel, once you have paid in full you can print off your hotel voucher.
If I had known I could have given you link to site that gives you 6% cashback with Alpharooms.
Only downside I have seen with them is a 20% cancellation policy which increases in the last 35 days.

Thanks Wayne for all the information....would look at them for future holidays to Disney....see how this one goes first! Direct with the apartments was £300 and with Alpha beds £170...how the heck do they do that! Did notice that they are based in Ecclesall Road, Sheffield which is where DD lives.

I have booked with them for our upcoming trip. We have saved a few £'s booking with them too.
We booked to stay at Cypress Pionte through them, rang CP with room requests etc, they have our reservation so looks ok so far.

They are one of a new breed of dynamic companies, very cheap rates but no bonding. Not a massive risk though
