Anyone ever use Resideo.com for reservations?

Someone recommended Resideo.com for good rates (thanks debden).
Has anyone used this service before? Their rates for the Caribe Royale were
$20.00 cheaper a night than what we reserved at (which we thought was
a good rate already for the Caribe).

Any positive/negative with Resideo before I change my ressie.

I just used them for my Caribe Royale reservation yesterday. Seemed to work well. I also found their rates to be significantly less. I waited a few hours then called the hotel directly to confirm the reservation. She did not have it in the system. When I told her that I booked through resideo.com, she did say that it takes 24 - 48 hours for them to transfer the reservation over. I feel pretty good about it....as the Hotel Staff didn't indicate any concern when I told her about my method of reservation. I plan to check back tomorrow or Thursday with them to confirm. If they don't have it by then, I will have to do some detective work.

Checked with Caribe Royale directly today. They had my reservation. Everything looks good. They gave me a hotel issued confirmation number. I say go for it.

I've used Resideo before to book at one of the other listed properties in Orlando, and had no problem at all. The transaction went through very smoothly and the staff was ready and willing to answer any question I had.

I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I used http://www.resideo.com/florida/orlando to book my holiday accomodations. After checking out the very detailed info about various Orlando area hotels, I settled on the Bahama Bay Resort and booked it for New Year's Eve. The nice lady at the Resideo toll-free number showed me how I could change my reservation details online, which I've never had any luck doing with the 'big' companies. Everything went without a hitch, which is a first for me! I'll definitely book with them again .... three thumbs up!

Mmm,isn't it funny how all of the responses to this post come from people who just joined in Feb/2005? And none of them give their location......... Such a big coincidence! Funny.
I wonder if any of the above posters are associated with resideo.com in any way? Just curious....

Nah, not associated, just a happy customer!

Did I miss the location thingy?? WHOPS! Well, my name says I'm in FLA, right? I'm up in the Panhandle and visit WDW alot, sometimes I'm not able to stay on property and stumbled upon Resideo and was quite pleased, might as well share the wealth, right?

As for why I just joined, I've been lurking for a while, but just haven't had a chance to post. Thought I'd put my two cents here and there since I had some time today.

FLA Girl,I'm glad you did pop on the boards and post a review.I am also thinking of booking with this website and the prices are sooo much lower than most other ones I've looked at.
I guess it would not be totally unheard of for someone to come on these boards and post a good review to their own business?!! It just caught my eye...Usually nothing catches my eye that early in the morning!

Hi! I know for certain that Resideo does not charge any additional fees -- they don't add any hidden fees to the rate, and there's no sign-up fee or anything like that!

No problem! I've actually used their service before -- very satisfied. Lots of good info and pictures about the properties. I haven't posted here much, so I was eager to jump at the chance to contribute!
