I didn't know they existed. I saw them in the store the other day and picked them up to give them a try. The lasagna is in the oven right now.

Anyone ever use them?

:thumbsup2 I use them all the time for my spinach and artichoke lasagna. They come out perfect!

Yes, I've tried a few and liked Barilla the best. Having said that, however, I still like the regular kind better. It IS a lot easier, though, using the no-cook kind.

Use them all the time. I usually use the Barilla brand. It does taste a bit different (more crunchier) but it sure cuts down on prep/cleanup so thats fine for me.

You can use regular ones just like the no cook ones. Add a little water to your sauce and cook a little longer. Works great!

I like using the Barilla ones. I've never had it turn out crunchy though...

Exactly. I never use anything but uncooked regular lasagna noodles.

I used them and my lasagne was all "buckled", is the only way I can put it:confused: . It tasted fine :) just looked a little strange. Maybe I didn't use enough sauce.

i used them once....

Were ok...

Next time i definatly use more sauce though...

What about the mannicoti noodles....can you fill them without cooking them too????

I use them all the time (Barilla only). I find that the texture is best if you can assemble the lasagna a day in advance. Refrigerate overnight, then when you put it in the oven, the unboiled noodles are already softened, and they've had the chance to absorb the flavor of the other ingredients. :thumbsup2

I don't like this pasta. Although I like my pasta al dente,I don't like it crunchy.

Lasagna is done and out of the oven and you'd never know they were the "oven ready" noodles! Tastes just as good as the ones you boil first.

Every chance I get. I was never able to get them right when I had to cook the noodles first and the oven ready ones are perfect! Lasagna comes out perfect EVERY time! :thumbsup2

It's the only kind I ever use. Mine doesn't come out crunchy though, just normal:confused3

I made lasagna with them today. They are wonderful. I don't mind making lasagna anymore. It cuts the effort down by at least half.

I've been using the uncooked lasagna noodles for years now! Barilla is the best. I tried another brand (Mullers I think it was) and they didn't seem to cook enough, they noodles were a bit on the crunchy side.
