Anyone ever use a rotisserie in their home?

I just bought a toaster oven yesterday and it also has a rostisserie in it. I'd like to do a chicken for dinner tonight using it. Do I need to put anything on the chicken (butter, oil, seasonings, etc) before I put it in?

What are you tried and true recipes?

Our microwave has one in it. For chicken, I like to rub a little olive oil on the outside and throw some garlic and sprigs of rosemary in the cavity. Very yummy!

We have a rotisserie on our grill. Chicken is our favourite thing to rotisserie. DH puts an orange in the cavity and then bastes the chicken with beer (lager preferably) about every 15 to 20 minutes. It is also very good with a tsp of salt in the cavity and nothing else. Do you put a pan under the chicken to catch the juices when you rotisserie it in the toaster oven?
