Anyone ever try-or have luck with this?

I have a 1BR reserved at OKW for Dec 13-17. Just found out some friends would like to join us on vacation at that time. I called for a 2BR and only the 14, 15, 16 is available. I HATE switching rooms so I was wondering if this would work...... Keep the 1 BR reservation and book a studio. I would ask if it's possible to get the studio and the 1 BR together (ones that become a 2BR lock off), see if we can convert them into a 2 BR, and then use points for the 2 BR the rest of the stay. I know they will say that they can not guarantee that the rooms will work that way. Just wondering if anyone has ever requested this. The worst case scenario would be the 1 BR and a studio---hopefully in the same building.....just not as fun!

If anyone is on the wait list for a two bedroom during that time, you wouldn't be able to change a one bedroom and studio into a two bedroom or you might lose it to the wait list. Your best bet might be the extra studio. But you might not even be lucky enough. How about waitlisting SSR as well?

Deb is right, and you would likely have to wait list for the studio as well, since that is a far more difficult unit to get during that popular time than the 1 bedroom is.
