anyone ever stayed at stovall's best western?

I am thinking about staying at this hotel- I can get a good dicsount at it. Anyone have any reviews or opinions of the place?

Stay there every time we go. Nothing special, but good price. Decent breakfast. A bit of a walk to the park, but not bad. Resteraunt beside the hotel has excellent food and priced well. Unless we get a great deal somewhere else, we stay here. Get to the breakfast early, it can get pretty packed. Solid choice. Only other place we look is HoJo's for entertainment rate.

There is another Best Western (Pavilions) about a block further along Katella that we prefer over Stovall's. They also have good rates from time to time.

The Anabella (on Katella) is quite walkable and you can enter through the lobby of the Grand Californian. The Hilton is on Katella and just a bit further, but still walkable (there's a pedestrian walkway through the Timon & Pumba parking lot to the Disney tram).

Of course, we prefer a park view in the Grand Californian! Can't wait for them to finish the new DVC adddition!

We stayed there for our honeymoon in 99, it was very nice. The only thing I didn't like about it was the distance from the main gate. At the time the constuction for DCA was happening and it was a very long walk all the way around. There was of course a shuttle, so as long as you don't mind the shuttle it may be worth the discount.
