We were thinking of spending a couple of nights there this fall. Anyone ever stay there? Any suggestions of things to do in October in Chatham or surrounding areas?
It is just a beautiful spot. Yes, it is expensive. And the fall is a beautiful time to visit Cape Cod. And there aren't nearly as many people around as during the summer. October is one of my favorite times of year on the Cape.
It is one of the expensive places on the cape to stay.
And it has been said already but fall is definitely the time to go...just make sure it isn't Columbus Day weekend.
I don't know much about the Chatham area as I am from Falmouth but I worked at Inn/Restaurant where we held weddings and a lot of people would say they were also looking at the Chatham Bars Inn.
The Chatham Bars Inn is beautiful. Chatham is beautiful. One of the nicest towns on the cape if not the nicest. There are lots of things to do in Chatham itself or other places within a short drive from there. I think you will like it.
Wish I could afford to stay there! It's a nice looking place!
There's tons to do up on the Cape in the fall. Chatham is a lovely town and is surrounded by lots of other wonderful towns. You could drive up to Provincetown and go whale watching. Or do the drive in movie (on the weekends) at Wellfleet. Or go down to Hyannis and check out the Kennedy memorial. And don't forget all the wonderful lighthouses on the Cape too. And shopping!
