How did you go about doing it? We've had our points listed with an online broker for about a month and it hasn't sold yet so I was thinking about doing the Ebay thing.

Any advice?

Do you have a non exclusive listing. If so, you can do the auction while it's still with the broker. If not you'll have to take it back or possibly even wait until your contract expires. Call your broker and discuss with them to you make sure you know where you stand and you don't end up with two ?binding offers.

Just post up yuor points on e bay with complete details of costs etc and set a reserve if your so inclined and wait for the bids to come in. Some friends of ours sold theirs on e bay and it sold for about 93 a point when it was all said and done and Disney from what I hear often times passes on ROFR with e bay auctions.

How would you handle the closing on your own? I wouldn't have the foggiest idea of the legalities of the closing. Anyone ever sell DVC on their own?

I have sold one where we did the ROFR, Deed, recording and DVC notification all without any outside assistance. It was not difficult.
