anyone ever rented the Disney stroller???

We're going in 3 weeks and have decided not to bring our own stroller for several different reasons that I will not bore you with. I will need a stroller for DS3, though. We are only at MK for 2 days, so I was thinking of renting theirs. I think Orlando Stroller Rentals has a minimum # of days and it ends up being more $ than Dis.

Just wondering if you've ever rented the MK stroller........did you like it?..........does it have a good sized storage area underneath?........etc, etc. Thanks!!!!!

Expensive - but if that is not a concern it is the easiest stroller I have ever pushed. Only down side is you don't have one late night when they are really tired and don't want to walk to the room. That is when we really need them.

But as far as quality - love them. Even when you put a older child (say 6) and a younger one in a double it is easy to push.

Are you not doing the other parks? If so you will need a stroller there to. Owners Locker now rents strollers and i dont think there is a min.

The park strollers are hard plastic.

Keep in mind with Disney strollers....they're not as comfortable as cloth strollers and they don't recline for napping. We rented a double stroller from Orlando and it was a dream. I couldn't imagine renting the hard plastic kind ever again. If Orlando does rent them for the time frame you're looking and you can afford the few extra dollars, it may be worth it in the end.....

Our kids (4 and 6 last year) walked every park except for Epcot. There we rented a double stroller from Disney. SUPER easy to push!! (I stopped using our double stroller almost 2 years ago and when I did it was a nightmare to push!!!) The kids didn't have a problem with the hard plastic. Ours don't nap so it is wasn't an issue that it didn't recline. We will probably rent the double again at Epcot this year.

Disney stroller are VERY expensive. And honestly, your 6-year old might need one too. Especially at Epcot. First-timers just don't quite understand how much walking there is on a Disney vacation. Sure, other people's kids made it fine at 4 or 5. Mine did not. I used one every day when she was 4 and 5 and we started to wean her from it at 6 when we used it for evenings and Epcot only. Heck, she used one in Epcot last New Year's Eve when she was NINE. She was dead on her feet by 10pm and I wanted to stay for the fireworks. I would bring your regular stroller. You can "gate check" it on the plane if that's what you're worried about.

Actually, the bigger issue with bringing mine from home is when we leave Disney. We are renting a car after we leave Dis property to visit family for 2 days. I doubt very seriously there will be room in the rental vehicle for all of our luggage AND a stroller. That is the main reason we are not bringing it. Actually a 2 day rental at MK is only $26. Won't break the bank. Thanks for your input, though!

You know you can also buy a nice cloth umbrella stroller at DW for $40(last years price) that folds up to nothing.

I love DW rented strollers as long as your kid doesnt want to nap - so easy to push....have a wonderful time!

Love the Disney Strollers. It is an easy stroller to push, it has tons of storage, it's labeled with your name and best of all, you don't have to deal with it on the monorail and trams. Would never bring a stroller to disney.

No, you probably won't have room for a mega-stroller and all your stuff.

This is a good compromise. I once forgot my stroller and ended up buying a cheapie umbrella stroller at Babies R Us for $20. It was the same brand that was being sold in the parks. OP, if you think you might need the stroller for more than 2 days then that might be the way to go.
