Anyone ever make homemade churros?

My boyfriend has been craving churros, but I don't know any place that makes them. I found some recipes online, but I wanted to see if any DISers had suggestions! I'm not er....very good at the whole cooking thing, but I really want to try! Any hints/recipes are appreciated!

I have never tried making them before, but is planning on making it for my daughter's birthday party. I would be interested in knowing what recipe you used and how it was.

I love churros! No place around here makes them, either. I can't imagine they are too hard to make - mostly dough and sugar and cinnamon. I may have to try and make some.

I buy them frozen at the store. So much easier.

Whoa - that brings back memories. I haven't even THOUGHT about churros since cooking them at Chi-Chi's years ago.

They sell them frozen in the supermarket. Much easier than attempting to make them (for me at least).
