anyone ever make a dish from a disney restaurant?

We figured out the measurements for the Welsh Dragon drink from Rose and Crown! We drink it almost weekly. The ingredients were on the menu so we just played around a bit and in about 20 minutes we had a close version. We just wish it was stronger, but it's very very refreshing. I tried it after waiting outside of test track for DH and DD7 for about 90 minutes when it broke down last July when we were there. I told my DH to order me a drink and I could've drunk at least 3. Combination of ingredients sounds strange but it's so god (OJ, Pineapple juice, midori, peachtree schnapps and a shot of creme de menthe).
Can't wait to have several in July and more in December.:santa:

ooo... that's an interesting idea. i should write down the ingredients of favorite drinks from disney when i go in july and try to figure them out at home... thanks for the tip!

I actually found the ingredients on the net on a copy of the menu!

Where in MA are you?

I have made several recipies from WDW, and even DL. The last time I was down to WDW I purchased two cook books and I absolutely love them! Some of my favorites out of there are Eggplant Rollatini from Tony's Town square, New England Pot Roast from Liberty Tree Tavern, Mom's Meat Loaf from 50's Prime Time Cafe, Buttermilk fried chicken from Pop Century, as well as the Chicken Pot Pie from the 50's Prime Time Cafe. We also got the recipie Lemon shrimp and pasta from Narrccoossee's which is really good too!

Yum, the mushroom risotto at Le Cellier. I made it 2 or 3 nights after we got home from Disney in Dec. It was sososososo good :)

Also, if you're at a Disney restaurant, just ask for the recipes. Le Cellier had a bunch of them already printed out on recipe cards. I know Boma does too.

I have several of the Disney cookbooks. There are several recipes I make a lot. They are the shogun dinner from the Teppanyaki with the mustard and ginger dipping sauces and the ginger dressing for the salad; the Lamb & Barley Soup and the Cottage Pie from the Rose & Crown; Jambalaya and Cajun Onion Bread from the Disney Institute; and a really old Lasagna recipe from Epcot. I tried the Satay Chicken with peanut sauce once. I need to try that one again. I want to try the red snapper recipe from the Flying Fish, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

We made the Canadian Cheddar cheese soup, found the recipe online and followed it exactly as it read and it came out OK but not even close to the one in Le Cellier. The recipe said carrots and something else that when we eat it at Disney we don't really taste.Next time we make it we'll just leave out the carrots or put less and shred them better!!
