Anyone ever hosted a Mystery Dinner Party?

My husband and I (mostly me) would like to host a mystery dinner party for about 12 of us. I would like any info on a kit that you or someone you know used and really liked.

Also, if you have attended one of these, what was your favorite part? What made the night a success?

We have a wonderful group of "couple friends" and I thought this would be a fun diversion for a cold winter night.

I participated in one of these about 10 years ago. It was at a bed & breakfast and this was the parlor game. I'm not too big on this type of thing but I played along and thought it was pretty fun. I was the murderer
