Racer Rod or Racer Rock? We are leaving tomorrow and my dh's co-worker mentioned that it is a great themed off site restaurant. Can someone let me know 1) where is it and 2) if it is worth doing.

Thanks for your help in advance. I'll check back later as I am on my way to church.

I believe it is race rock. It is near Universal on I drive across from Wonderworks and the now closed FAO Schwartz (look for the giant teddy bear). Anyway, the food was okay- standard burger fare. Prices not too bad. We have no race car fans in our family so the atmosphere was lost on us. I bet it is great for someone who knows what they are looking at!

we have been there alot dh is a nascar fan, it is great food and if you like nascar you would like it too. the food is very good, we had burgers, pasta and salads all were great! they have some kind of pasta (don't remember the name) and it is very spicy and soo good. this is a great place if you have kids because it is soo loud in there! i would try it and i am sure we will go back in october! heather:earsgirl:

Personally, I am not a NASCAR fan, but my ds, dh and nephew might appreciate it. Even my dd is a car fanatic so I might get overruled and we will probably end up going. I'll definitely post a review if we do.

Once again, thank you for all of your help and quick responses.

We went to Race Rock and we had a good time. The kids had burgers and my dh and I had the not so spicy buffalo wings. They were pretty good. On the side they had the best cole slaw that I have ever tasted in my life! I do not usually eat cole slaw, but this was pretty good. They have several monitors around the restaurant that show race car bloopers continuously. The kids kept watching the screens because they were so into it.

Like an earlier poster mentioned, it is mainly known for its burgers. Someone at a table next to us had one of those blooming onion thingies. I was tempted to order one, but I was so tired and couldn't eat another bite.

My ds6, dd8, and nephew9 all loved it.
