Just got back from the Wonder Eastern yesterday which was awesome. But when I woke up yesterday I had a welt on my leg with a blister (bumpy like) in the middle of some sort. We went to Castaway Cay on Friday and I don't remember feeling it than. But it is very itchy and red not sure what it can be from. Has anyone had this from previous cruises or have any ideas as to what it might be from and what I can put on it?

cyndip84, We also got back from the eastern yesterday and you were on the Magic, not the Wonder. The Wonder does not go to the eastern Caribbean.

cyndip84...sounds to me like a bite from a red ant...we had the same thing two years ago when we went on the Wonder and stopped at Castaway Cay for the day....unfortunately, I am very allergic to these little bites and stings...but they usually clear up with nothing...but you have to watch cause sometimes they can cause an infection...so if it seems to be getting worse than better in a couple of days...you gotta call the doctor.....So...did you have the greatest time on the cruise...give some details to us...what were the movies on the ship....did you enjoy the shows...the stops in the islands...the food...the great treatment.....some details please....
Tom....20 days to our Magical cruise!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the reply I was getting worried. I will keep a check on it because it has gotten worse today so we shall see how it looks tomorrow and I will go to the doctor if it isn't any better. As for the cruise it was awesome. The service was great we had Clive and Dante as our servers they were so great with the kids. The shows were great. As for the movies they had Tuck Everlasting, Santa Clause, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Lilo & Stich, Sweet Home Alabama, Monsters Inc. I know I am forgetting a few. We really enjoyed Palo's everyone must go there for Bunch and Dinner it was awesome. Make reservations as soon as you get on the ship. We went to St. Maarten you must go to Dawn Beach it was our best day of the week, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay which was great for the kids. The service on the ship is wonderful they really know what they are doing. One thing we really like was after we got off the ship several airlines have trucks there waiting and you can check your bags there and get your tickets confirmed so all we had to do at the airport was go to the terminal which was great. Overall it was awesome so have a great time when you go. We will be going in a few years when my two year old is a little older. My five year old didn't want to come out of the camps we had to drag him kicking and carrying on. Have a great trip.

CyndiP84...sounds like you had an awesome time...doesen't it go by so fast...we have cruised the last 2 years..this being the third in a row...booking this year last year before we left the ship....and now that we seem to do it every year we probably won't break tradition....wife and I have a 23 year old daughter that unfortunately does not like to cruise...combo of uneasiness(sea-sickness) and the fact that she does not like to be confined...she would rather run around the parks in Disney World...so we get the best of both worlds...we do the cruise and then spend 5 nights in the park after the cruise...and she joins us for the land portion...yes....it can get expensive but it is only money and you cannot take it with you so have a great time this time around....but once you get DCL in your blood you never want to stop....thanks....and only 20 days to go to the"MAGIC"!
