Anyone Ever Had Shingles?

I had shingles a few years ago, I was 28. I was diagnosed very early and started taking anti virals right away, I think that's why my case was mild.
As another poster mentioned, avoid contact w/ anyone who has not had chicken pox, they can catch chicken pox from your shingles virus.
Did your Dr. give you any pain meds?

I have been on Valtrex and pain pills since the 27th and hopefully I will get better soon. I am lucky that we caught it early on and am hopeful it will get better real soon.
