Anyone ever get discount for WL deluxe room???

Hi!!

I have been trying to get a discount on the WL deluxe room for our December trip but with no luck. I just figured that all of the discounted rooms had already been booked. My husband spoke with a supervisor today and she told him that they do not usually discount the deluxe rooms and suites. She did say that sometimes they can get the system to accept a discount with a PIN code. She said that you just need to keep calling and hope that you get lucky and the system gives you the discount. Soooo...has anyone been lucky and gotten the discount for the deluxe room or suite????????

I really HATE calling CRO!!!!!!!!!!! I DO NOT want to call everyday!!!! They NEVER have my personal info correct and its sooooooo very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!! We visit 3 times a year and they STILL cannot get it right???!!!

I got a pin code and was twice able to apply it to the WL. Beyond that, nothing. But I'm not sure if that's what you meant?

Last January we stayed there during the 4/3 deal. That's the only time (along with free dining) we get a discount at any deluxe resort.

In 4 years of trying, I have NEVER, EVER been able to apply a PIN code, discount code, AAA discount or anything else to a Deluxe Room at WL. And trust me I have tried...I am a TA and we are family of 5 and that is our favorite room on property. You can get codes and PINs applied to Standard Club Level and all other standard rooms at WL, but not the Deluxe rooms.

have you tried magical vacations? By deluxe room do you mean club level?

I priced out the deluxe room at BWI when the most recent room discount came out and it was discounted. They are basically the same thing...sleep 6, club level. I don't know why they would be different? Maybe there are more deluxe rooms at the BWI?

You may want to check into that, unless your heart is set on WL.

They are set up differently and I have never seen a discount at the WL deluxe room either and I have been a TA booking only disney for 6 years.

WL deluxe rooms have a living room separated by french doors
BWI is one large room, almost the size of two rooms, with a sitting area that has a pull out sleeper sofa plus 2 queen beds but it is all in one large room

I have seen discounts at the BWI deluxe rooms

A deluxe room is a larger room, used to be categorized as a jr suite, it does come with club level access but that is a recent addition. In the past it didn't have club level access

I rec'd a 40% off PIN code. I already had the PIN for Free Dining and had a room at the WL, but they said I could not change it to the 40% off PIN....
