Anyone ever fly into Sanford/orlando?

Has anyone ever flown into Sanford airport? How were the car rentals there? How long did it take to drive to WDW?

Hello Pas,

My sister is flying into there in March. The rental car situation is terrible if you're arriving after 5PM. It seems that the rental companies close their desks then, and don't offer any shuttles, except Hertz. They stay open until 10PM. They don't have a desk in the airport, you have to pick up the courtesy phone and they'll send a bus.

After getting the car, if you get on I-4, it's about 50/60 minutes to get to WDW, depending on traffic.

If you find out anything different on the rental cars, please post it.
