I'm guessing this doesn't happen but if you got the first ADR for breakfast at one of the parks and finished before the 9:00 am opening, do you just hang out?

When my dd was younger and Cinderella's castle was not 2 TS credits on the dining plan we always tried to make an 8:05 reservation there. We usually were able to eat our meal and see all the princeses before a 9 am opening. This was great because this would allow us to ride Dumbo first and get that done with. We would generlally finish Fantasyland by 10:30. That worked out reallly well. We have also done the same thing with Cyrstal Palace and have made it to the rides pretty quickly. Obviously you can't sit and have a leisurely meal but it is a great way to get a jump on the people at the main gate. This only works on a non EMH day of course.

I would never publish this anywhere but the dis..this is super top secret. But the best part of an early ADR is being in the park!! We always finish Crystal Palace before 9am opening and are literally standing at the rope heading to Tommorowland by 8:50. One year a CM took my daughter and let her ride Buzz all by herself before the throngs of crowds made it down main street. What a treat!
Also - you could never wake Tink without an early ADR and being at Fantasyland rope drop at 8:50.
We all pay big money for that breakfast...but it pays dividends :goodvibes.

Last June we had an 8am ressie for Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. We were done eating and done riding Kilimanjaro Safari before the park opened. It was great!

We did an 8:10 am BBB appointment and were done around 8:35ish. We took lots of pics and just hung around until 9 am. :goodvibes

When Donald's breakfast at AK was in its old location by the Dinosaur ride, my son and I finished before park opening. They had the area right outside the restaurant roped off and you had to hang out there until park opening.
