Anyone ever eat at Jungle Jim's?

Just thought that might be an interesting place to dine our first night in Florida. Anyone have any review that they wish to share?

We have had lunch there a few times and find the sandwiches and burgers to be decent. Service can be a bit spotty but not really terrible or anything.

I've seen good reviews about it, but I didn't enjoy this restaurant. It smelled weird and for lack of a better word seemed "sticky" floors, surfaces etc. And the service was poor. The kids menu offer a drink with the kids meal, my kids ordered milk, which they were charged for. When I pointed it out, the server said that the drinks had to be soda. Now I can afford to pay for the milks, but I just HATE when places try to nickle and dime you with small print. And see, now I am badmouthing them on a website, so was it worth it to them to try to get $1.50 more from me? (end of rant).

We ate there and liked it. The portions were quite large, and the restaurant had a quaint dose of "atmosphere". I didn't see them, but my daughter said even the restrooms were cute! LOL She also liked the monkeys they put on our drinks. We will eat there again.

We love jungle jims...the sandwhiches and burgers are huge and very tasty....service has always been very good and it has a cute atmosphere. We have never had a problem with bad food, sticky floors, everything has always been very clean...including the bathrooms...besides the food..that is the first thing I check out in a restaurant!

I've always found Jungle Jim's a good family restaurant, with enough to keep the kids amused and a sound, burger-based menu (63 varieties, I think, including the Head Hunter - a full 1lb burger with a huge plate of fries - eat it all and the next one's free!).

We loved it. The food was great and not bad priced. My kids 13, 12 and 10 all liked it. Like any place check your bill and ask if you think it is wrong. I know we ate twice there last visit cause it was so good!

We have had lunch there once or twice during each of our trips. It's a good hamburger restaurant. I haven't planned meals for next March yet, but I'm sure we'll get there a time or two.

We tried it on our last trip in March 00 and will probably go again this December. The food was very good (we all got sandwiches of some sort) and I don't remember it having an odor or being dirty in any way. Have fun whatever you decide!!
