Just wondering how much of a hassle it may be to bring all of that along? We were thinking about renting a car for a few days and the additional charge for car seats is rediculous! (of course we have 3 kids so it seems like quite a lot!) We were also thinking of renting a double stroller from a baby's best friend but that will run us another $100.00 since we are staying for 11 nights, so I was thinking about bringing our own...But on top of all our luggage and stuff how much more of a pain will it be to bring 2 car seats, a booster seat and a double stroller? I guess the good thing is that we could stick the 2 youngest in the stroller when we arrive while we are waiting for car service or whatever. We will be arriving at the Kissimmee station. Thanks for any tips, thoughts, etc....Planning this trip is fun but making me  !!!!

Well, first of all, will you be staying on property so you will have access to the resort bus service to get to the parks? If so, I would recommend giving magictransportation a call. We were picked up from the Kissimmee station too. They provided the car seats/boosters that we needed. They allowed a 30 minute grocery stop at Publix. The best thing was that they also included the use of a delux stroller to use while we were in FL. :) They give a discount for mentioning the DIS boards too. Tony was wonderful too! Our train was 7 1/2 hours late & he was right there for us with the van when we arrived. You may want to check out my post about our experience on Amtrak last month.

Also, if you were planning on using the car rental service at the station at Kissimmee, make sure that you ask them the hours for the office the day that you will be arriving. Since you WILL be late, make sure that someone will be there until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. We talked to someone on our return trip while waiting for the train to show up...late of course :)...and they found out the hard way. The office closed at either noon or 1 pm and they arrived after 2. They had to take a taxi to Orlando then rented a car but it was for 3x what they had planned to pay.

I think Magictransportation is the one we were going to call for a ride. Our plan was to get a ride from car service to the dolphin and then pick up our rental car because although we are staying at all star movies for 6 nights, after that we will be staying at Boardwalk so when we return the car, we will be able to walk back to our resort. We wanted the rental car for the first half of our stay because we'll be on the meal plan and want to be able to get around as easily as possible to eat at the resorts and everything. For the second half of our stay we are renting pts so we can't do the meal plan and a lot of things will be within walking distance. We probably will use the stroller from MT, but since we have 3 small kids, we'll still need the double stroller too.

do you know which car service co. are right at the Amtrak station? I didn't think there were any right there.
thanks

I just looked back at my post because I couldn't remember which one it was but it is Hertz. I checked their website & they do have an office at the station.
