anyone ever call the Disneyshopping.com number?

I had to call them tonight so I could use multiple gift cards on an item. I spoke to Yolanda. Let's just say, Yolanda didn't sound like she was having a great day. She wasn't rude or anything at all, just really really uninterested. My favorite part was at the end of the call when she said "Have a magical evening," in such a sad little monotone voice. If Kevin's sad little crap cake had a name, it would be Yolanda.

I'm not very happy with Disney Shopping or Disney Store. All my dealings with them have been sub-par.

I believe I spoke with Yolanda twice last week, and she was quite helpful....I wouldn't say "outta her way drop dead super sweet", but she was friendly enough and helpful enough.

I had an odd exchange, too. I bought a Dooney purse at WDW and noticed on the plane ride home that some stitching was coming loose. I ignored it for a month or so, then figured it was just too much money to spend to have something like that happen. But, I couldn't find my reciept and used 2 gift cards and cash to pay for it, so couldn't even pull a CC statement. She did give me the 3rd degree about when, where, why...etc and what proof I could send showing I was at WDW during that time frame, but she kindly said I could certainly exchange it and she made sure I had all the info I needed to ship it back, all without a reciept for a $220 purchase.

So, I am more than happy with Disney Merchandise and Miss Yolanda. She may have been having a bad day....as many retail customer service folks have during this season I also don't think they have too many folks working the Merch phone line...I called twice and got her both times.

I can't remember exactly who we spoke to, but we recently bought a couple things for Christmas and one of them was a Disney Dooney. And at that time they were having the special where you could get the cosmetic bag for $15 and for some reason I forgot to add that on. So we called and they were more than happy to fix it for us.

It was a great experience- sorry you had a less than stellar one!
