I need to get a 3 day ticket for my adult daughter. DVC does not have discounts for such. Anyone ever use EBAY? I plan on getting my annual pass through DVC but wondered if anyone out there knew where to get the best deal. We're going for 4 days & 3 nights staying at OKW. Thanks in advance

General concensus around here is don't do it. You have no way of knowing if they have been used or not. (try the search for maybe "ebay tickets", lots of threads out there)

A good place for a bit of a discount is to sign up for Mousesavers dot com newsletter that comes out on the 15th of the month.

They have a link to Undercovertourist that has pretty good discounts, not huge, but I think one of the best out there. Alot of people here, myself included, have used them numerous times with great results and customer service.

While there are some people who do and everything turns out ok, there have been lots of threads where someone did and the tickets weren't any good - same with craigslist.

I wouldn't take the chance.

I did for DL because I only needed one day tickets so it was money that wouldn't have bankrupted me if the tickets were bad. The tickets were fine and it saved me $$$. I was willing to take the chance for what I was buying. I wouldn't do it for something like 7 day park hoppers.

Sure go ahead if you can afford to buy more tickets if they are no good.

Other than that

Run, don't walk to another more reputable source.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the PA&S Forum, especially Post #20, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

I researched it some months ago and found the prices on ebay were not really any better than undercover tourist which is a reputable place to go--hope that helps!

I've read too many bad stories about ebay tickets over the years. I wouldn't do it.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest. I've never found anyone that could beat that price and though I do shop on ebay, I would never buy Disney tickets there.

Thanks everyone, my instincts were saying no as well but was just wondering. Better to spend a few dollars more on a reputable place then lose on what I thought was a bargin,
Thanks for all the tips going to check out those sites right now

STOP STOP STOP
NO NO NO NO NO
DON'T DO IT DON'T DO IT

You run the very probably risk of getting ripped off. Just don't do it!

I read that alot of craiglist and ebay sellers use stolen credit cards to buy the tickets and then sell them. Sometimes the tickets work fine before the credit card company catches on. They get canceled by disney if the charge is reported before the ticket is used. I would be really carefull especially if the seller wants you to pick the tickets up the day that you get to disney or even meet them there. B/c those sellers will use the stolen credit card to buy the tickets that same day. So then the buyer uses the tickets without a problem and thinks that they are okay but later they dont work b/c the card number was reported stolen and the ticket was canceled.

I sold a couple of Universal Tickets on ebay and I was amazed at how many people are willing to buy them. My tickets were unused, but honestly how would anyone know that for sure? I personally wouldn't buy any park tickets on ebay. Just too risky or as someone else said-if you have the money to buy other tickets, just in case.

The key thing to remember is that if your ticket turns out to be no good Disney will NOT help you (Screaming and crying at the gate have been tried and they failed/ A woman in front of me tried it once. She then moved to cursing.. that made the situation worse :) )

You have violated both Disney's terms and conditions and, I believe, Florida law (I seem to recall the theme parks got a law passed on unauthorized ticket sales) so Disney does not feel that have any need to assist.

You should not buy tickets from private parties, or from any seller who does not take credit cards directly. Paypal will not give you your money back unless it succeeds in back charging the seller. While you might win a dispute with Paypal via your credit card, you will be blacklisted by PayPal and eBay.
