Anyone ever bought furniture from Big Lots?

I am looking for dressers for my boys rooms and don't want to spend an arm and a leg...found a nice dresser for the money at IKEA, but the color just doesn't match the rest of the boys furniture.

I saw an ad for Big Lots with dressers on sale. The picture of them looks nice, but Big Lots is a long drive from my home, and I'm afraid I'll get across town and it will be junk. I'm not too picky, but I need nice size drawers and relatively sturdy drawer glides. I can't stand when something is so cheap that it is coming off the track all the time.

Anyone buy there before? Anyone seen their furniture? Anyplace where I can read reviews?

I am very please with Bedroom furniture that we bought for my daughter. It is about 8 years old. I have an issue with the drawer pulls but I think that is a kid issue more than a furniture isse.


I also have an entertainment center I bought at Big Lots.
3 years ago they had furniture from Pier One (I think) I bought a great entertainment center.

My sister-in-law bought her entire living room set (couch, chair, coffee table) from big lots. It's a flip of a coin I would say. They are faux leather; the couch is Great. Has had it 2 years now and it is still holding up wonderfully. The chair..not as good. The cushion had to be replaced because the "leather" cracked within a few months and under the cusion is a thick cardboard that has seen better days. Coffee table has also held up wonderfully, so I would just really check the material in store.
