Anyone ever bought from Bradford Exchange?

I'm thinking about buying this for my anniversary (tomorrow). I'm pretty positive DH has forgotten all about it. It has been 18 years after all.

Anyone purchased from this company?

I personally have not, but my MIL has purchased numerous pug items for us from there...Once you buy from them, they will always mail you things similiar to the item you purchased. We are forever getting pug items in the mail from them..

The items are great quality, not sure of costs, though they do seem pricey.

I have bought a couple of things from them over the years and have found them to be of lovely quality. A little pricey, but they are usually "special" items, so I feel like if I'm spending a little more for it, it's worth it.

As dax said though, once you buy one thing, they will forveer send you items they offer that are similar.

I bought an English Springer Spaniel statue once and now every single ESS thing they offer comes to my house. Same with Irish stuff...once I bought a celtic cross and now I get every Irish-themed offering they have.

I thought it was illegal to mail something to someone who had not ordered it and expect them to pay for it?

I don't want to be bombarded with pricey Disney stuff. I got a silver Swarvski Tinkerbell necklace from my dad, a silver Mickey watch from friends at my old work and I LOVE this ring. It would look great on my trip!

I think she meant that they mail you the flyers on items that are similar to what you have purchased. For example I have bought "bird" plates, Cinderella plates, and a birdhouse small collection and receive mailings regarding similar items on a regular basis. I have never been sent merchandise ordered.

NOW there are times they have a Disney ornament of the month or whatever but you clearly know you are signing up for that and you can also refuse any month or quit at any time.

My best friends DH bought her a SS ring from there a few years ago. It was a heart with each of their names engraved on it. She loves it and was surprised he thought of it on his own. She would always have to give hints of "This is what I want" with picture or catalog included.

They don't carry the ring anymore but this is as close as possible. Her's is all Sterling Silver. It also didn't have the side stones. Just their birthstones.

I bought myself a mickey ring looks great and I love it. My MIL has bought me a few things from them as well. A Navy charm bracelet, a pooh and piglet necklace. I would definately buy from them again.

They've never mailed me the item. Just and advertsiment of the item they are offering. It's just that generally the advertisements for what they have available tend to be for things with the same "theme" of what you've pruchased in the past.
