Quick question for people who have booked HBC using LMT. I've read numerous posts on DIS about people booking Hilton Bonnet Creek using LMT and calling Hilton to have them send a separate email confirmation without issue. That being said, I've called Hilton's reservation line numerous times now, and I've always been met with, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but you can just call TouricoHoliday if you want to have your confirmation emailed to you" when requesting them to send me a confirmation, which I find to be strange and frustrating since I have a Hilton confirmation # (not the LMT one that they sent you after online booking), and I can plug that into the official Hilton site when looking up existing reservations along with my last name to have their site display my reservation on Hilton's site.
It wouldn't be a big deal, but I hear when you get an email confirmation sent by Hilton, they offer special upgrade offers (Disney View, room upgrades, etc) at discounted costs through the email confirmation they send. I'm not worried at all about our reservation at Bonnet Creek going through, but did they change their booking arrangement with LMT (Tourico) recently that doesn't allow them to send a confirmation from their end anymore? Should I just be calling the front desk at Hilton and not the reservation department to get this request met? Is their a special password I need to mention when I'm requesting a Hilton email confirmation?
