Hello to all!

Hey, has anyone ever booked the same exact room for their 2nd Disney cruise?

We cruised on a 3 night (May 16) and we reserved room # 5020. Well, it's one of the secret porthole rooms so you pay for an inside deluxe stateroom and get a ocean view deluxe stateroom w/ a slightly obstructed view.

The gentlemen that serviced our room was named "Kerrie" and he was excellent. The room is in the forward of the ship and located in a prime area. Plus the forward elevators are not as busy as the midship or aft elevators, however, you can basically take the stairs for all your needs because after one or two flights, your there.

Anyone else?

Dude:p

We booked the same room, different ship. We were in 6090 on the Wonder this past May 23 - 26th. Loved the cruise, and the room. It's a non-connecting room, and it has an extra solid wall on one side. No rooms across the hall, either, so it's very quiet. In the centre of the ship, so there was a little bit of a walk to the elevators and stairs, but nothing too inconvenient.

We loved the cruise so much, we booked our second cruise while on board, same room on the May 3rd eastern Magic next year.

We booked the same category 5 room for our second cruise next year. After having a problem with our first room, I was very reluctant to get a room I wasn't sure of. Just hope they fix the verandah door lock by then, didn't lock when I was on it and am hoping before someone with real little kids stay in it they fix it.

Go with the same room asa you know it and you liked it. You know how the saying goes, you know what you got but you don't know what you're gonna get.

We stayed in 5014 in Feb 2001 aboard the Magic and we are staying in the same room in Sept 2002. We loved the location (near the kids clubs and away from bars/night life). We had thought about upgrading or trying a different room, but with the amount of points and the location we felt we couldn't beat going with something we know was a "good" deal.

Dude...we had 5520 (same room as yours on the other side of the ship). We also LOVED the location, room attendent and view! I tried to book the same room again, but it was not available:(
This time we will be on deck 2, but as long as I am ON the ship I don't mind!

We thought about booking the same room but decided to book one on the opposite side of the ship instead. We are going on the same 4 day crusie next year and wanted a different view, especially as we go into port, it will be interesting to see what was on the other side of the ship.

I was in 6092 on the Wonder in June and just booked the same cabin for the 5/17/01 Magic cruise.

We tried to book the same room for our upcoming December cruise (WONDER, 6083, port side, mid-ship), but it's already booked! So we're moving next door to 6085. We loved that section of the ship.

I haven't even been on my first cruise and I already have two booked!! Both for the same room 6616!

Went on the Magic in Feb. 2002 and had 5522, went to book again for 2003 and it was taken, so we took the opposite side and we booked 5022, another secretportholed room, we are excited, can't wait...

We just came back from the June 15-22 Magic-plan to book again in 2004 and will definately book the same room-we were in 6028 and 6030- loved the location-didn't notice much movement at all plus-when I went to do laundry one morning-the laundry is on the opposite side down towards back of ship-we smelt terrible fumes from the engine- going down that hallway-(cannot remember the numbers in that area) I would be afraid to risk another location-that smell would definately make me sick--although I don't know if its there all the time but it smelt terrible that morning-

We were in the same two staterooms for our 2nd and 3rd DCL cruise, both were Eastern 7 day cruises. Kathy

So I am guessing you were happy with those rooms also-people always say that they hate when the closet doors open and close through the night due to the motion of the ship--we never had that problem--they seemed to be real tight-

We have stayed in 6007 twice. Once on the Magic and once on the Wonder. We had it booked again for October, but it wasn't available for the 2nd week. So, we are moving next door to 6011 for 2 weeks.

We were on the Wonder in 2000 and stayed in room 5501. Loved it because it was close to the kids clubs and movie theater. We will be on the Magic this time sailing on July 6th 2002 and staying in the same room. 1 week to go. See all who are going on the same cruise. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

I know what you mean, Peter!!
We generally book the secret porthole rooms to save some $$, since we cruise so often, but we've also had a verandah several times and hubby is totally spoiled. Since I am the one who makes out the bill payments, I am the "level-headed" one, but he is always lobbying me for at least a nav. verandah...he almost talked me into it for our three-in-a-row, but when I saw the extra cost (and knowing that two of those dates are $99 cruise dates), I just couldn't do it!! He'll have to be content with the secret deck 7 aft verandah. Oh well, we have 5650 on our cruise next week so he can't complain too much!
