The real key reservation would be Rose and Crown at 9:50pm and get an outside table. We had that, with another couple, on 12/31/03. We timed it right and dessert came just as the fireworks were about to start.
Is there risk if you get an earlish ADR for a restaurant in Epcot on NYE that the park will be closed (early on) due to capacity? We've never been on NYE, and want to be at that park for the night.

I've been lurking on New Year's Eve threads as well as Christmas (basically any day that the park will be over the top in capacity) for several years now. I can only anticipate that Epcot will most likely remain open on New Year's because it can absorb larger crowds. MK, on the other hand, will probably be closed by 11am. I hope this helps!
Hi, I am hoping to be in EPCOT for 12/31/08. I am hoping we can get there around noon or early afternoon and not have to worry about it being full to capacity. I just made our 12/31 reservations for Chef's de France @ 7:00 p.m.
No problem getting any restaurants I wanted for the holiday week, arriving 12/27. Jeannie.
Hey Guys! Just wanted to follow through.... I booked all of my ressies this morning for our vacation arriving on 12/28. I wasn't even placed on hold. I got all the times I wanted as well. Good luck to all of you whose 180 day mark is coming up.
we have Le Cellier at 7.40, table for two, we will be at the UK Pavillion to celebrate New Year at 7.00pm and then head to Le Cellier, it was worked out perfectly for us
