It's time for me to admit that my girls are growing up. They both said they didn't need to go to the castle (although they have eaten there 3 times already). I can see the 11 yr old, but the 8 yr. old doesn't want breakfast with the princesses either.

On the bright side, the pressure is off to book it. I am going to try, because I love the cream cheese stuffed french toast!!:)

So, when people tell you their kids are too young to go to WDW, tell them they're wrong. It's priceless to see those little girls ooh and aah over Cinderella, right!?

Yes, my dd (now 13) has never had any desire to eat at the castle with Cinderella and the others. The first time we went, she was 9 and she thought it was okay, but nothing great. When I was planning our 2nd trip I told her how hard it was to get CRT and how I couldn't guarantee we'd be able to go. Well I think she was hoping we wouldn't get it. It's my DH and I that really want to do it each trip. We're now working on our 4th trip and she still doesn't care. She has never gone crazy over the princess' in any way. Actually the only princess she likes is Ariel (they share the same name, just spelled differently!).

We went to the Princess Storybook breakfast when my older DD was 11 and my little DD was 8. As we were eating breakfast, my older DD was watching the little girls (4 and 5 year olds) and she turned to me and said, "I wish we had come when I was littler so that I could believe the Princesses were real." Talk about ripping your heart out. I felt so bad that we waited "until the girls were older". So my advice is GO NOW!!!!!!!

We did Princess SB @ Epcot last year. This year I thought DD9 would like to try CRT. She said no! I couldn't believe it! Well, I guess I'm off the hook.:)

I just wanted to second the post to take your kids when they are young enough to "believe". My DD was 2 1/2 when she first met Cinderella at Toontown. When our visit was over and we left the room she broke into tears because Cinderella couldn't come with her. A year later we went back and ate at CRT. For months she would tell people that she got to have breakfast with Cinderella in her Castle!! She is almost 6 now and still loves the princesses and CRT but I'm not sure how much longer they will be 'real'. princess:

I used to like eating in the castle. Im now 16 and still like to go there just to sit by the window and look out and eat the yummy desserts. But the food on the menu doesnt do anything for me. And we did the Princess Breakfast 2 years in a row(last year and the year before) and i loved it. I loved seeing all the little girls dressed up and i wish that i could fit into one of them because i would wear it there right quick! And when the princesses came, i was happy, especially when i saw mulan because she is AWESOME! And we dont do it anymore because its expensive and the food isnt all that great. But to get back to the point, the castle isnt fun anymore and the last time i was there i found myself leaving my parents there while i chowed down a Casey's hotdog.

My daughter was 7.5yo (2nd grade) when we went to WDW for the first time and she was on the edge. She had JUST finished with the princess stage and said she didn't like them, but she never said she didn't want to go. I think she secretly still enjoyed it. She was still just young enough to slip into beliving in the characters if she wanted to. I know that was most likely the last time. :( At least I still have DD#2!

YES!! Go while they still believe!!
