Ugh, I have to vent!
I am so hyped for our next trip to WDW (late Oct) but when I try to talk to DH about travel planning or trip ideas he spews something like "Oh, your the planner...just tell me where to be on what day and I'll be there...". Ugh! I want us to be like the WDW commercial where the mom busts her kids talking about Disney and when she gets back into bed she asks her hubby if he is sleeping and he says, "Nope, too excited." Sorry...I just read so many posts here about DH's helping with the planning or being excited (BTW, you guys are sooooooooo lucky! I am green with envy!
) that I was hoping there may be 1 other planner out there like me who has no help at all...
Sorry about the vent...

! BTW, my DH is a FF too - so ya think with all the "time off" he would be more of a help to me in the planning dept. NOT!

so here I am! My three kids and I just go without him. He plans a trip every year camping which I hate, but I merrily go along. I am hoping I can sway him with my good behavior. It really does bother me that he will not go but the more I push the more he pushes back. It makes it hard because I can never go on the kids birthday and they really all want to go for their birthday. They are all during school closing times too so it would be so easy to go then! I love him, but I have a passion for the mouse and I am not going to give up Disney but I am not going to force hime to go. I want to go for my birthday this fall and it is during free dining. I may just go without him, but I will be really sad to do that. I must admit it bothers me when I read about all of these happy couples while there and the little romantics, but if I have learned anything it is that life is not like a commercial. Chin up and just celebrate your likes and accept your dislikes. I would hate for him to start refusing to go becuase he is asked to do something he does not want to do.
)but he will humor me and listen to my ideas.
The postcard is a good idea too!
Let's give ourselves all an A+ for the great adventures we are planning!
