Anyone else working today?

They said on NPR this morning that 70% of businesses are closed today. Mine falls within that remaining 30% range. If the stock market is open, my company is open It's absolutely dead. I'm glad I have the DIS to keep me (looking) busy!

yep, I am supposed to be working today too.

And I will be taking my two nephews to an offsite meeting to discuss the merits of animated rats flushed away or the legalities of the santa claus 3 or even if happy feet actually exist. should make for an interesting 3 hour lunch

Me too! The market closes early so we'll be leaving at 1:00PM. Too bad I will have missed those early bird bargains.

Hit the stores at opening and off to work I went . We have a few accounts open and I guess they don't feel like doing anything so placed calls instead.

We are swapped and they are all not getting service today unless we hit some real easy customer fixes.

Same here! There are 3 of us in my dept and my boss is away, and the other guy has off so it's just me here. I spoke to my boss already this mroning and was hoping he would tell me I could leave early but he didn't . So I am stuck here

the newspaper never sleeps! We have to put Sunday's paper to bed today by 5pm, so I'm releasing ads today.

I just got home, had to work until 1:00. Hubby had to go IN at 1:30, until 10:30 tonight, so no family time for us today. Just put DD down for a nap, and getting my DIS time in before she gets up.

Shopping tomorrow though! Need to get the house clean today though.

My company is open, but I took the day as a personal day. I did have a couple things I needed to get done, but I was able to do them from home this morning.
