Anyone else wonder why so many "just back" reports?

I love the just back threads. :p

I read every one I see. Rather see those than the breastfeeding threads.....:rolleyes2

I'm another one who loves "Just Back". If someone is stalking the Attractions & Strategies board, there's a high likelihood they're getting ready for their next trip. It's very helpful to get a current pulse. If these people are like me, they might be intimidated by the time and structure of a full Trip Report:oops: Posting a "Just Back" provides them a fun & easy way to #1 relive their highlights and #2 pay it forward:thanks:We're all on this board for one common reason, our love of Disney:earboy2: And we all receive a lot of help from each other. For the people who don't appreciate "Just Backs"..."just don't read" :P And for the people who are negative in spirit, there are plenty of other sites on the Internet to celebrate that negativity. I thought this one was meant to celebrate the happiest place on earth:love:

(DLR vet politely clears throat) Most Magical Place on Earth. Happiest Place on Earth is Disneyland. :wizard:

I totally agree. There used to be a sticky that said that just back and here now posts would get moved to the trip report forum, but it's been gone for a while now.

It was removed almost a year ago.

QUOTE="Accident, post: 56416238, member: 555845"]Would be easy to spot the "just back" threads in there though. Or maybe it's time for a just back subforum :)[/QUOTE]

Good idea.

I've actually gotten some good tips that are relevant to our plans from the just backs. I like them because the info is quick and current and not presented in overwhelming war and peace length literary piece. And I've found the OP gladly expands if a question is asked, so that's helpful too.

I do find it slightly odd when opening a TR thread to find the OP is updating day 4 of their 10 day trip that concluded last spring. Those types...not my cup of tea.

Going to put a plug for my "just back posts". I have a continuously running TR that I update a day or so after visiting a park. We have AP for Disney, Universal, Sea World, and Busch Gardens. I'm usually at a park anywhere from once a week to once a month. I use to put an index in the 1st post, but didn't for this one.
