In planning for an upcoming trip I was starting to wonder if it was possible to add extra days onto the DDP. We are staying seven nights, arriving early in the day on check in and leaving late on our last day, so we are spending 8 days in the parks. Then I remembered that on our last trip (first time on the DDP) we had a couple of CS credits we never used, and were able to do signature dining on our last meal because we had enough TS credits left. This came about from eating so much at lunch during a TS meal we werent hungry enough for a real meal at dinner, or basically just having to much fun to stop and eat. Is our experience unusual or does this seem to be the norm.

We usually have credits left on our last day. This is because we choose to share most of the counter service meals and rarely seem to use the snacks.

However, this is very useful for us because we drive so it means that we can get sandwiches / drinks / treats for the way home. The last few trips, I spent less than $20 (other than gas & hotel) on the way home during our 24 hour drive - and that was mostly for coffee and donuts (cause I love me some dunkins).

We had 2 CS credits leftover. But, when we got home and looked all of our receipts, we realized that one of our CS meals wasn't charged correctly. They only took off 2 credits instead of 4. We were always looking to make sure they didn't overcharge our credits. We didn't even notice when they undercharged us. So, I guess those 2 additional credits were extras so we didn't really lose anything!

We have had some left over CS in the past. We drive to WDW from Pa and had a small cooler with us and some plastic cotainers. Packed up the food in the plastic containers and put in the cooler and we have had lunch and dinner on the way home. And also snacks we get the cookies for dessert from WPE since they come in bags.

We didn't have 1 credit left. We used some CS and snack credits at breakfast. Used remaining CS for lunches and a 1 TS everyday.

We used all our snacks easily becausue we aren't big breakfast eaters so after a short time in the parks the kids would get a soft pretzel to hold them over until lunch. We also used a snack credit for bottled water and my morning coffee in the foodcourt. Plus it was June, so we had our share of Mickey ice cream bars or, my personal fave, strawberry Minnie bars!

After a 7 day stay, I had 2 cs and 2 ts meals left over. The extra ts resulted from a meal at Rainforest cafe and an unexpected dinner with family from florida outside the parks. I also found that on most days because of a counter service meal earlier in the day, I felt absolutely stuffed after the table service meal in the evening. It was a struggle just to walk it off! Still, with out those 4 meals, I still came out ahead financially making the DDP worth it. However, in past years, I would not have ordered an appetizer, nor a dessert. I will do it a little different next time.

We've used DDP for our past three trips. We always have leftover credits on our last day - usually TS meals and lots of snacks. This year, I swore I wasn't going to allow any credits to go to waste... but, we left 1 TS meal unused. We just weren't hungry enough to sit down for a big meal that last day.

We have had CS and Snacks left over. We always use the snacks the last day for snacks and water. On our trip 2 years ago, we ran into a couple who had run out of meals in the food court and they didn't have money left (Newlyweds). Hubby went back into the food court and bought them our last 2 meals. They were thrilled and we felt great about it.

We wound up with 2 child TSs leftover because we did adult only dinner at Jikos for Valentines Day. Overall I was really happy with the plan. It made me eat more than I think I would have otherwise. It would be nice if Disney allowed you to use TS credits for CS or Snacks and likewise CS credits for snacks. I inquired about it at one store and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. It was worth a try.

We ended up with one or two snack credits left. I was going to get a pretzel on the last day, but got sick and lost my appetite. Oh well... no big loss.

Our last 2 trips we've had CS and snack credits left.

We ran in and got sandwiches to go to eat at the airport, and got a bunch of snacks for the trip home.

We had 11 counter service credits left over! We did have a load of snack credits as well, but used Goofy's Candy Co. for gifts to bring home.

I am planning a trip and no matter how I try it I think I am going to have a TS credit left. I don't want to drag the kids to a restaurant after traveling all day and I don't think we will have time on the day we leave. I don't want to waste a credit but I don't know what to do? It would be nice if you could change 1 type of credit for another once during your trip. I could always take sandwiches to the airport.

How about doing both a character breakfast and (what I am assuming is) your table service dinner on the same day?

I thought about that. Doing the princess breakfast at Epcot but with a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old and having a dinner ADR I don't want to push my luck with getting them to behave in restaurants. It is still possible. I have time to figure it out. I also thought about doing 1900 PF on arrival day?

Have you thought about planning a character breakfast one day?

Last trip in '06 we had 10CS & 16snacks on our last day. We were at OKW so we had a full kitchen and I cooked a BIG breakfast everyday. So big that we used only half of our CS for lunches as we were still full from breakfast.

So on our last day we got extra sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich for the plane ride home and we raided the Conch Flats general store to use all of our snacks for plane and after we get home snacks.

Had something like 2 CS and 5 snacks left unused. We did get sandwiches to go at Pepper Market for the trip home but still didn't use all the credits. It doesn't help the Pepper Market was constantly including various snacks in our meals as freebies.
