Anyone else with blank room request dropdowns in MDE?

I know, I know, MDE is crap and hasn't been working well at all lately; however, most of mine is back up and running now, but when I got into my upcoming reservations, when I attempt to add in a room request to my rezzie, both of the dropdowns are just blank. I remember this happening previously, but wondering if anyone else is getting this particularly bug currently? Maybe I just need to clear my cookies?

I BELIEVE.....that it has been that way for months, I know it was for my September trip, and for some months prior. I would just call.

That feature no longer exists on MDE. It's been "blank" for a really long time.

Yes everyone.
Room requests on the online check in form have not been functional in over a year and my guess is Disney is phasing it out due to people being upset that they don't get what they requested.
I wish they would just remove the option so there is not daily confusion.
BTW MDE isn't crap for everyone.

I successfully used it for a November 2017 stay. But it has definitely been broken all of 2018.

I'm pretty sure I used it for a Jan 2018 stay, but for our most recent stay in Oct, I didn't even try

We were booked for February of this year and due to a detached retina had to cancel. I rebooked in February for at May trip this year and we stayed at POFQ. In April of 2018 the room request was still functional because I requested close to transportation and close to the food court. To our surprise when we checked in we got a room on the third floor corner overlooking the entrance into the food court and by default a short walk to the bus. We went to AoA in September and the function was not there. I guess I assumed it was because there was not much to request at AoA in the Little Mermaid section so thought nothing of it. We are going the first week of December to PoP and we are staying in a preferred room and the options are not there and I intially assumed since it was preferred that it was sort of pre destined as to what kind of room and did not think about it. But now with others having troubles I guess they have removed the choices but if that is the case I wish they would just remove the function all together rather than having people think it is just not working. A lot of policies they enact or take away they are not very vocal about and with all the other MDE issues you just have to wonder is it gone, or just not working?

Everyone else does not have them either. LOL.

Those things have not worked for a while. Common thought is they were disabled because too many people couldn't understand the word "request". They probably should just remove them though.

Ugh I feel for ya with the detached retina. Hope that all worked out for you.
You may have just gotten lucky because while there was a drop down until earlier this year it wasn't keeping requests that were selected since about last September.
Yes removing it entirely would stop the confusion.
You could always call in your requests if you'd like.

When I booked it was functional. It’s no longer functional and blank

It also has me down for ME, which is wrong as it’s my son who happens to be arriving in the evening. I’m arriving early morning. UGH!

Touring Plans uses a fax, so either they ignore the fax or they don't. lol You can't claim they ignore the fax, while posting experiences saying otherwise.
