Anyone else with AOL having trouble with DING!?

I've been reading all of the posted deals and thought I'd download DING!. Problem is, if you click on a link it doesn't take you anywhere, as it's supposed to, and it's not a firewall issue, because I've already ensured I could reach the ding/southwest.com website, as HELP suggests. ARRGGHHH!!!!! Just when Southwest comes out with something great!

I've downloaded it but it keeps saying there is an error and I can't use it. (I have AOL too) Haven't been able to figure the problem out yet.

What Operating system are you using? It only works on Win.98SE,Windows ME, and Windows XP.

I have XP, so I don't think it's the operating system. Maybe it's something to do with AOL?

I too had that problem...Right click on the red exclamation point in your tool bar, and exit ding..then, while u are connected to the internet, re open the ding program...u can open it by clicking my programs, then clicking on ding...that should solve the problem, and your ding envelope should be on your toolbar...hope that helped...

Not an envelope, it is the tail of the plane. Thanks for the tip, hopefully it will help others.

Thanks! When you click on the notices or the buttons, does Internet Explorer open for you? That's where I'm running into problems.

Checked out the firewall and that's not the problem, nor is pop-up blocker. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well. This is just frustrating!

Yes, internet explorer opens, mine is very slow to open with the full text, but it eventually comes up..Sorry my little tippy didn't work out so well...Hope you get it figured out..
