I just returned yesterday from 5 nights at BWV. Fri and Sat night in a standard view studio and Sun, Mon and Tues nights in a standard 1 BR. (My husband and I are DVC members with points at BWV and VWL, we don't have any children. My husband is not the Disney nut that I am). This trip it was me, my best friend, her cousin, and my friend's son, age 10. So 3 adults and 1 child. I had never traveled with this group before and had never had this issue before.
One of us adults would get all set up in the tub and the ten year old would want something out of the bedroom, or want to watch TV in there because something "boring" was on the main TV. Well, when you open the bedroom door you have full view of whoever is in the tub!
I guess I'd never noticed this "issue" before when traveling with just myself and my husband, or with my sister, etc. If you wanted to relax in the tub, no one could really access the bedroom until you were done, unless you were willing to give up your privacy!
I was noticing how easy it would be to add a bifold door in that doorway, just like the shutter/door separating the tub from the bedroom. Just wondering if others had run into this problem and what they did. We either had to get him set up in the bed with the TV going and forbid him to move, or keep everyone out of the bedroom. It was not a huge deal, nothing that ruined or trip or anything, just a real pain. And something I've never seen mentioned here before. What are your thoughts?
