Not sure how I did this but I now have Park reservations for AK and MK for the same day? Anyone else have this happen? The only thing I can think of is I made one on my resort reservation and the other on my AP. Is this going to be a problem? The plan had been to switch days from AK to MK but that is not what happened

The park reservation system seems to be screwed up right now. I‘m trying to make some Epcot park reservations for resort guests for March 9, and keep getting an error: “We couldn’t retrieve reservation times … please try again later.” Epcot should be an easy get, so this has to be a glitch.

Maybe all the big announcements today have caused the systems to be overwhelmed. The dining system was also very glitchy this arternoon. Hopefully some time will sort it out.

So if this does happen to you get it fixed ASAP. I was still unable to delete either park pass this morning when I purchased Genie Plus. I immediately grabbed Jungle Cruise for 9:15 right at 7am sharp. To my horror it then said “It looks like you are park hopping” and changed it to 2 pm. I was unable to make a LL for either park before 2pm. Fortunately we are staying club level and the CM at the Concierge Desk was able to make a call to Guest Relations and get our AK reservation cancelled and us an earlier LL for Jungle Cruise. Must say I am NOT a fan of Genie Plus in its current state.

Must have been a glitch. I decided to switch two of mine around in April this morning. I have an AP and am staying on property, 2 night ASMo and 4 night Dolphin. Before I cancelled I wanted to make sure both parks were available for the days I was switching. If I was logged into MDE, I couldn't even get to the calendar to see since it knew I had an AP and knew I had park reservations. I had to go into another tab, log out and just look at the park reservation calendar. Then I went back into the tab where I was logged in and cancelled both reservations and went to remake them. The calendar popped up with just those two days as open since it knew I already reservations for other days. I tried both ways as an AP staying on site and as just an AP.

Did you possibly book with AP before you had a resort stay booked?
If so I can see that causing double reservations.
This business of 4 different pools of reservations is just a nightmare
They have
AP
AP w/resort stay
Tickets
Tickets w/resort stay
I get why they have ticket only and AP only but AP with resort stay should book from the same category/pool a ticket with resort stay.

Yes, if I stay onsite with my AP I often can book two different parks (and they both work just fine) but we never use Genie or LL. I appreciate the tip from the previous poster about the system not working well with that when holding multiple parks.
