Just read on Yahoo that Shane & Matt broke up. Gee - how surprising!!!

Seems that they tried to make it work, but they were just too different. Again, what a shock!

*Gasp* No! ;)

Oh well...moving on...:)

Deanna ia trying on wedding dresses. I hope the whirlwind romance and immediately jumping into the wedding planning doesn't lead to disappointment when the reality of reality sets in...the day in and day out of married life...not that my marriage hasn't been fabulously exciting every day for the last 24 years ;) :

I can't believe I just voted for which dress I liked better.....LOL....
Really? You did? I didn't. Nope. I don't care what she wears.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

So I finally went back and watched the "Where are they now" show and cracked up at Brad. The poor guy looked to have a tear in his eyes. *sniff sniff*

And I did vote on a dress, too.;)

Hi, my name is ___________________ and I'm waaaay too invested in the lives of complete strangers from TV.

I voted too.

I second that! And my husband would completely agree. He thinks my reality tv habit is silly.

I voted as well. I liked the more classic look of the lace. I guess instead of big butt bows the new trend is big tummy bows?

No shock about Shayne. She got what she wanted. Air time and a fat diamond. (I wonder if ABC makes them give the ring back? Poor "monkey" if she does.) And I like Matt, I hope he finds a nice girl. Hopefully he got his American Hollywood actress fix out of his system and can find a solid relationship.

It was so obviouos on the reunion show where that was going.

I remember when creepy Aaron dumped Helene, they tried to sell the ring on ebay. Not sure if it actually sold. Found this:
Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz, the stars of ABC's second season of "The Bachelor," put their diamond ring up for sale on eBay.

Although their television love didn't work out, Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz, stars of ABC's second season of "The Bachelor," have once again partnered up -- this time to raise some cash by selling their engagement ring.

The 2.75-carat Harry Winston diamond and platinum ring that Buerge presented to Eksterowicz during the 2002 season finale is up for auction on eBay (www.ebay.com/ring).

Bidding began at $17,500 for the ring, which is valued at $29,000. The auction ends Thursday, but as of Wednesday afternoon, there were no bids.

Buerge, a restaurateur from Missouri, and Eksterowicz, a school psychologist, were the handsome couple whose relationship sputtered when the filming stopped. Buerge reportedly dumped the teacher at a Starbucks, but he did say she could keep the ring so long as she did not sell it.

"I'm not engaged, and I'm not wearing it -- I don't want to ward off any potential suitors," Eksterowicz tells the New York Post. "It's just going to waste right now."

So Eksterowicz and Buerge agreed to split the proceeds, and the teacher said she would donate any money she receives from the sale.

The winning bidder stands to walk away with more than just a ring. The sale package accompanying the costly rock includes a meet-and-greet with Helene and Aaron in New York City, as well as T-shirts and shot glasses from Trolley's Grille, Buerge's restaurant.

Also included with the ring will be a copy of "Nobody's Perfect: What to Do When You've Fallen for a Jerk but You Want to Make It Work." Eksterowicz co-wrote the book with Gwen Gioia, also a contestant on the second season of "The Bachelor." Although the two New Jersey residents were rivals on the show, they became fast friends after Eksterowicz and Buerge's falling out.

They initially wanted to write a tell-all about their experiences on the show, but confidentiality agreements the pair had signed prevented them from doing that. Instead, they plotted to write "Nobody's Perfect," an advice title that hit shelves this month, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The book is broken up into bite-size chapters that detail the many shortcomings of men such as "Mr. Cheapskate," "Senor Don Juan" and "The Cad."

And Jason fans can email him. :) (OK...I admit it...I did vote for a dress, but I will NOT be emailing Jason! ) http://tvwatch.people.com/2008/07/25/email-the-bachelorettes-jason/
Email The Bachelorette's Jason!

A single father from Washington broadcasts his relationship status to the country only to be swamped with letters from adoring female fans. Sleepless in Kirkland?

Well, almost.

This time around, it’s Jason Mesnick, also known as the man The Bachelorette’s DeAnna Pappas passed over in the show’s finale. The 32-year-old father (son Ty is 3) has a new email account for any fans wishing to contact him.

“I’ve gotten thousands of comments from fans,” Mesnick tells PEOPLE. “The generosity and the kindness is unbelievable. Every one is so sweet and nice. All the comments are pure love.”

After Pappas told him in the finale her “heart is somewhere else,” Mesnick’s fans overloaded his MySpace account with comments and then bombarded ABC with requests to get in touch with him. Producers of the show finally set up a separate e-mail account just for him. Fans can contact Jason directly at fanofjason@gmail.com.

“This really was set up as a way to accommodate his fans who wanted to reach out to him, not as a way of finding a match for him,” an ABC rep says. Mesnick checks the address once a day and tries to respond to every fan — even if it is just with a simple thank you.

“Every email starts the same. ‘I’ve never done this before and I’m not a stalker,’” he says. “I’ve even gotten a Sleepless in Seattle letter.”

Even if he doesn’t find love online, Mesnick is feeling pretty good from the responses. “I don’t care who you are in the world, Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan, you have some sort of doubts about yourself,” he says. “To know that people like me and accept me for exactly who I am feels so good.” – Emmet Sullivan
