Anyone else watching "Revenge"?

Does anyone else think that the Nolan's new CFO is up to something? My DH and I can't decide if she is interested in Nolan or if she is bad news.

I think that the guy that was supposedly robbed by Declan wants the bar. Just the way he looked around the bar after Jack's comment made me think that immediately.

I think she's interested in Nolan, particularly after he took the phone call from Emily and she looked completely crushed the further the conversation went. Then he walked out without a word about their dinner plans to go meet "Ems", who is connected to Nolan in a way she doesn't really understand (not made any easier by his non-explanation of who she was to him).

I'm kind of glad the PTB are giving him a love-interest, even if it is only one-sided.

When Fauxmanda went tumbling over the railing, I sat up and took notice for sure. This show never fails to surprise me.

Fauxmanda was only signed for a few episodes this season. But to answer your question, not sure if they will kill her off, or she will leave since Jack ended their relationship.

I think it will expose the fact that David Clarke was an original partner of Nolan's, which I don't think is public knowledge. That will damage the reputation of Nolan's company, and bring up all kinds of blackmail possibilities.

It will also link "Amanda" to Nolan publicly. Will people follow the money trail from the company to Fauxmanda? Why hasn't she been extremely rich this whole time? And what about her son - is he entitled to corporation profits?

Padma is definately a 'plant". She is there probably for the group behind the whole David Clarke frameup. I don't trust her. I don't think they will get rid of FauxAmanda. Too much more drama and back stabbing to be had. Daniel is a chip off the old block. I'm glad he is onto Ashley.

I, too, think Padma is a plant, just not sure for who. And I can't believe Nolan is falling into her 'trap' he is usually smarter/more paranoid than that!

I just saw a picture posted on the Revenge FB wall and it was a picture of FauxAmanda holding hte baby with 'mom' in the picture, so now I doubt they will kill her off (at least with the fall).


And it seems as if Jack and Declan were set up and I have a feeling that guy is after the bar, but then again, maybe they are the dead ones on the boat that we saw in the season starter?

Why is Aiden trying to get close to Daniel and the Grayson business?

The Americon Initiative... I am not understanding exactly who they are and what it is that they do? Why did Conrad get involved with them in the first place by giving them money with the whole airplane/David Clarke situation?

Just so he can get insider information for Emily. The more they know, the more they can have control of the situation. And likely to plant ideas in Daniel's head so they can puppet him into doing stuff they want him to do.

The AI is an American terrorist group. We haven't found out how Conrad initially got involved, but last night Conrad implied that he gave them the money that was able to fund the plane attack. It also sounded to me that they were planning on framing Conrad with that attack, but he was able to turn their focus on framing David Clarke.

I think that's pretty much it. They really haven't said the extent of what the Initiative is but it is pretty clear that Conrad helped launder money for them and helped them with the plane attack and then Conrad convinced them to frame David Clarke instead of letting Conrad take the fall.

Agree -- the backstory for everyone was really helpful. Very interesting that Emily helped Ashley from becoming a prostitute -- so did Ashley know Emily when she returned to the Hamptons, and is she actually a double "agent" and part of Amanda/Emily's revenge plan?
