Anyone else use Skype?

Haven't noticed anyone else with the Skype icon. Would be fun to periodically share Skype video conference calls with folks, here.

Skype sound quality is amazingly clear, better than a phone when talking Skype-to-Skype. A Brazilian friend turned me onto Skype a couple years ago. It's great for talking with friends in Brazil and Europe. I've noticed the Skype icon under my image on the left rarely shows me online, when I am online with Skype.

If you just want to try sharing some conversations with Skype users around the globe, set your status to "SkypeMe". SkypeMe invites Skype users to call you. Word of advice, when you begin a Skype conversation set your status to "Do Not Disturb" so that you won't get incoming calls while talking online.

My son lives in Taiwan and we skype with web cams every week. it is a good way to stay close and connected.
