Anyone else use or have used the CARES harness on the plane?

Would you still use it with a 5-year old? She is a short 5-year old. About 41-42" tall. Their website does say up to 44 lbs, and she is under that. How do you decide when to stop using it?

We brought it along the last time we traveled by plane, in May. I kind of feel like keeping up with it because I have a feeling that it reminds her to sit still, but we did have to undo it in order for her to reach the tray table to color and draw.

I think a 5 yr old would be perfectly fine in just the seatbelt personally.
I wouldn't bother with it for a child that old.

I agree. The regular seatbelt is fine.

Thanks for the input y'all! We have flown with DD several times, but it's a new experience every time as she gets older. Thankfully it's easier every time!
