anyone else use Netflix?

I just signed up on Wed night and received my movies today (Sat) wow! Thursday was a holiday so I assume there is just one day shipping time. It only averages out to be 4.50 a week . I usually pay more than that in late fees since I forget to return my movies from the library or store. I love picking out my movies online even the ones that haven't been released yet! They have every movie that has ever been released! I found this old movie that they played on tv maybe 25 years ago, Kingdom of the Spiders!! I think this is so awesome!

We have used netflix for about 2 years now - We love it! No late fees, EVER! We even had a movie once for about 3-4 months - They never sent a message saying "hey, are you done with that movie yet?" We really enjoy netflix!

I think NetFlix is the greatest! We get a 48 hour turnaround on movies - and we don't live in an urban area! The kids love it, too! Well worth the money, I think!

I signed up last week! I'm doing the 2 weeks free offer and since I signed up thru e-bates I will receive a $10.00 coupon towards the cost of my 1st paid month. I figured I'd know whether or not I liked it after a 6 week trial and it will only cost me $8.00!

I LOVE it so far. I can't believe the dvd's don't break in the thin envelopes they send them in but so far it's been fine. I've gotten 3 so far and sent two of them back yesterday. I can't wait to see how long it takes for the turn around. My 1st order came in 3 days.

The movie list is great especially since you can go back and change the order if you feel like seeing a different movie than the next one on your list!

I think with winter coming it will be great not to leave the house just to rent or return movies. I homeschool my kids and there are a ton of educational DVD's. I am going to get that new X-mas Disney movie too for X-mas eve. (Twice upon a X-mas) I guess we will be couch potatoes this winter! lol

How much was it before?

Do you know anything about the "8 disc" out at a time rentals?? I saw something about this but didn't read it. Just curious.

We love NetFlix also. We've been members for about 1-1/2 years. We have found that we see a lot more movies this way. What used to happen before is we would put DD to bed, go downstairs and check the TV page and realize there was nothing good on. We would say, let's rent a movie, but realize it was too late to go get one and watch it before we wanted to go to sleep.

This way, there is always a disc or two waiting to be seen. If we don't get to watch the whole thing in one nite, no big deal. We just finish it another nite.

Another great thing - you can rent whole seasons of old tv shows one disc at a time. We started renting Star Trek Next Generation. We're up to season 3 disc 2. DW and I love seeing them again and DD, who never saw them before, has really gotten into the series.

And the new lower price is just icing on the cake.

We've have used NetFlix for years. So long that we have the "4 at a time" membership and our fees were only $15.95 in the beginning!

Whenever we rent something at the local video store it costs nearly $5 and the DVDs are always scratched and never play right. We have never had a problem with NetFlix.

Here is the pricing structure:

* 2-at-a-time, 4 rentals per month: $11.99/month
* 3-at-a-time Unlimited: $17.99/month
* 5-at-a-time Unlimited: $29.99/month
* 8-at-a-time Unlimited: $47.99/month

I believe before the recent price drop the price was $21.99 for 3 discs.
