Along the same lines what about those little yellow plastic things for the middle of 45's so they would fit on the turntable. I know most turntables came with one but it always got lost! lol Did you ever lose them all and still try to play the 45? :rotfl:

Myst

:rotfl2: I used to try to center them on the turntable. I got pretty good at it!

Oh I love CCR. I think it's a sign of getting old when you hear the stuff you like on the oldies station. :rotfl: I'll still take classic rock from the 60's,70's and maybe early 80's over anything being played today. :)

Now, now. What about Maroon 5, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, Green Day and Lifehouse?

This hit me a few weeks ago, when I turned over my copy of Tommy and saw ©1969. Geepers... 35 years old. Argh.

Boogie nights oh
Boogie nights, boogie nights

Boogie nights
Ain't no doubt we are here to party
Boogie nights
Come on now got to get it started

Dance with the boogie get down
'Cause boogie nights are always
The best in town

Got to keep on dancing
Keep on dancing
Got to keep on dancing
Keep on dancing

(Party night)
Can you show that you know how
To do it
(Boogie nights)
Do it, do it
Party night
Get on down with the sound of
The music
(Boogie nights)
Music, music

Boogie nights
Get that groove
Let it take you higher
Boogie nights
Make it move
Set this place on fire

Boogie nights
It's so right
When you got that feeling
Boogie nights
Hold it tight
Got to keep on dealing

Thank goodness for Dan - I don't feel like the only really really old person here - I have original Elvis albums (although some of them are my DB's), Ricky Nelson, The Supremes (not Diana Ross and the Supremes) - Shall I go on???

Yes! I remember my sisters dancing to American Bandstand!

Paul Revere and the Raiders! (with that "dreamy" Mark Lindsey!).
also have a Monkees album or two that are too scratched to listen to any more.

Yeah, you are one funny ball of meat, sistah  You should really take your show on the road....

I am really old. The oldies stations don't play the songs I grew-up with because the songs are to old.
