i think it would be nice if your a dvc member staying at a dvc resort you should be able to get extra fast passes. they could give us a extra card to use for fast passes. you will still have your regular ticket to use.
at universal studios the people staying at the 3 resorts get to go the the head of the line. so i think disney should do something, too many disney hotels to everyone to have it. so just give it to dvc members staying at the dvc resorts. i emailed dvc about this idea a few years ago, they got back to me saying they would look into it, i know they probaly didnt. if we had more people to emaile them or call them maybe they will actually look into it.
if you think its a good idea let them know.
it would be nice for them to give us something. it may actually boost their sales a little.

sorry i meant fast passes in the heading didnt see it to after i post

You can hit edit and correct it. I was thinking of the slip that Weight Watchers gives out if you want to skip weigh-in because you gained!

It's a great idea for members but I doubt it will ever happen. DVC is not having problems selling and I don't think they are going to want to tickoff WDW guests who are not members. With 5 onsite DVC resorts, it would be enough to throw off the fastpass system, creating longer waits. They are giving members a $100 discount on AP's, I think that is a great benefit.

We have never really had a problem getting and using fast passes with the current system, so I see no need for DVC to be treated any differently than other WDW resort guests. It would be akin to giving DVC their own E ticket night, and I KNOW that wouldn't happen.

Now, THAT would be some kinds of memorable Member Block Party! :cool1:

Although I don't really need them myself - I suppose giving FPs to just DVCers would be an opposite situation of only offering meal plans to cash guests (although less the monetary consideration obviously). I don't think it would be a big sales perk unless it was guaranteed for life of DVC ownership. Current perks are usually subject to change - and as far as I'm concerned, if it's not a guaranteed perk of your payment, it really shouldn't be an incentive. Not for me anyway.

Disney has applied for a patent to issue FPs by resort and by room type, although who knows if they will ever do it.
