We have only had a small amount of snow but it has still brought lots of dispruption. Kids are off school with 3 days, I hate driving in hazardous conditions so I am getting sick of it now and want to be able to wrap up and get out and about.

I have seen lots of pictures of people in Scotland and England under a few feet of snow and I really feel sorry for you all, cabin fever must be setting in for you all.

I am because its caused me loads of extra work at work but wasn't bad by me so I didn't get a snow day!

Sick sick sick sick

Been stuck in house for a week, DD was at school 1 1/2 days, 30 mins walking each way pulling buggy through the snow as road footpaths not gritted. Car was abandoned at bottom of street. Thankfully some nice peep helped me get it back onto drive.

I managed to get to asda for essentials as corner shop even closed.

Wish it would disappear.
:confused3

Oh yes, I've had enough of the snow too. We haven't had much snow, but my little car isn't very good on the ice :(

Im fortunate that I havent had any round Blackpool, but the ice on the roads is really bad. Wish we had some sun instead!

we've "only" had 15 cm of it, all fell overnight so only been affected for one day but i've had enough of it now dd's school was closed so i've had to take a days holiday if schools closed tomorrow she'll have to come to work with me luckily i can walk in. the snows not even good enough to build a snowman, it's too powdery - roll on the summer!!

Yep Im so over it now our roads in Dublin our so bad we are still having heavy snow here :scared1:

Can I have some of your snow?? I live in North West MA... we are supposed to have snow. I lived in Rochester NY for several years so I'm used to snow... We got a dusting once so far and thats it. The amount of snow we have gotten for the last two years was so small it just felt wrong. It is also colder without the snow... well either that or it just seems colder since it isn't as much fun.

16 inches where we are, just outside of Sheffield.....been off work since Tuesday and off 2m too....totally fed up now!! can't drive off our estate

We got our 1st snow last wednesday and now I'm really fed up of it. Also its soooo cold, warmest it got today was -7C and at the momet its -12C

I work in Sheffield and couldn't get in yesterday or today - although I tried & turned back this morning,

If the roads were better it wouldn't be as bad - can't get off our estate unless you have a 4 x 4 :sad2:

Hope everybody stays safe, and dont forget to check on elderly neighbours there has been 2 cases of older people falling outside and being found dead on the Irish News in the last few days.

I think I'm the only person to say I'm loving the snow!! The school I work in was closed today and is closed again tomorrow so I'm enjoying a few days at home :cool1:

I wish the schools had been closed here, not enough snow to close but enough ice and White stuff to cause terrifying roads, icy hill of death in my close :-(, thankfully an inset day tomorrow so will be staying home, didn't get above -2 today and should be -3 tomorrow, just wish it could melt away :-(

Its dire here in Oldham...Everything seems to be at a standstill, & the boiler blew out this morning imagine that with an 18 year old diva in the house, she had straighteners but no hot water bless, did`nt occur to her to boil the kettle xx xx

although i like snow and it hasn't really caused too much disruption to me I am getting a bit sick of it now.
we've had it over a week now and even though I do have a 4x4, DH couldn't shift it yesterday and so had to work from home.
we must have had about a foot now, maybe more. everytime it gets compacted we get more

forecast none for today though, just light showers tmorrow so this might be the end of it.

i am looking forward to a trek to the pet shop today to get the dogs food. a 15kg bag :scared1::scared1: with no car. (our other car is a mini and i don't think i will budge that one)
