Anyone else scared to fly right now

I live in brooklyn, and work in manhattan....I was stuck in the city during 9/11and got on a plane to chicago 5 days later. I still take the train into the city everyday and believe me, the homeless people lurking around you are sometimes more scary than the thought of another attack. Please don't let something like this prevent you from coming to the greatest city on earth. If it makes you feel any better, every huge city in the USA gets dozens of threats EVERYDAY, we just never hear about them. If anything I'd rather be in a city that is equipped to deal with something and has the manpower to prevent something from happening than not.

Also terrorists rarely hit the same place twice. If there were to be another hit, its prob not going to be NYC.

Disney has bomb sniffing dogs that patrol the whole property a security force that patrols and keeps an eye out for any thing that looks suspicious. The ocso patrols disney and stands out side each park looking for things out of the norm. They have cameras all over the place they act fast when they see something. They and every city building or public places relies on the public to report things they see. I am sure disney has other things in place that the public don't know about until they have to.

It is so important if you see something say something call 911 no matter what state or if your state or city has a special number to call. In wow it 911 and alerting the nearest cm so they can call in security and the k-9 unit.

I am scared to fly. I always have been, this just made it worse. I have to hurry and get over my fear, because we are leaving in 26 days for Disney World

Absolutly not!! We live just outside NYC, are in the city all the time, take trains, etc.

When I was younger, I had no problem flying. Since I've gotten older, had kids,and 9/11 happened I've become more afraid. I leave for WDW on 5/11 by myself. I would be nervous either way but I kind of wish I was flying with someone this time

I love this poster, but funnily enough this was never displayed during World War Two. It was designed but shelved only to be found in some archives in 2000. It was part of a series also saying "Your Courage, Your Cheerfulness, Your Resolution Will Bring Us Victory" and "Freedom is in Peril".

I wouldn't fly to the middle east region since it's a hot mess right now, but nothing else would stop me from traveling, except the price of gas. THAT'S scary!!!

Nope. I have a bring it on attitude. If al-queda or another group is stupid enough to try to attack us then they will pay dearly for their actions. I find it sad for the people of Japan that others haven't learned from their grave mistake.
