1900 Park fare used to be a "must do" every trip to WDW. My daughter absolutely loves meeting Cinderella and she used to love meeting the mice. She did get a kick out of meeting the step sisters last August, even though she was a little scared at first. My main problem was the food. In the past it wasn't the best food I'd ever had, but it was a decent meal. This past trip, the selection and the food bordered on horrendous. VERY disappointed. This August I think we will be skipping 1900 Park fare for dinner. Anyone else share in my disappointment?

We had dinner there in January and the food was disgusting, terrible food that was overly salty.

Will not be going back to this one again and that stinks because the characters were a riot

Husband hated his meal in December '07. I convinced him to go back in October '08. I can't convince him again. I don't think it's that bad but we'll not be returning. Will truly miss the characters!

We also ate here in August and while putting my ADRs together for our May trip, my daughter said she was not interested in taking her girls here again. While the grand daughters loved meeting Cinderella, no one in our group enjoyed the food at all. (Maybe my husband did, but he'll eat anything). We have booked Norway for May and will see how this one works out. I wish they would make the food more enjoyable and we would have no problem going back.

aw im disappointed to hear this. i thought wed give it a try during our june trip. we are two adult women with no children and thought it might be fun! im sad to hear these reviews. anyone have any good reviews??

We were there in January for the first time and I was disappointed. The service was awful and the food was mediocre. We won't be rushing back anytime soon.

cinderella's at 1900? thought it was the supercalafragilistic (sp) with marry poppins?

we'll still go but i wont expect much and if it's good even better - we're doing as many character meals as we can for dd

:goodvibes We ate here twice in the same trip this past February and really enjoyed the food, amotsphere and characters! Food-wise we liked the buffet a lot! My daughter loved the chilled strawberry soup and my hubby must have ate 1/2 the prime rib with horseradish sauce! It was very good and a place we'll definitely return to! I'd still try it if I were you! :goodvibes

Hi
We were there last August and the food wasn't good at all. We loved it when they had the original buffet. We missed the mushroom ravioli and the vegetable eggrolls. I don't eat meat and there were a few salads that I would eat. Other than that, nothing. Even the pasta had meat mixed in with it. But the characters were really a lot of fun and my DGD had a great time.

The supercalafrafilistc with mary poppins is for breakfast. Dinner is with Cinderella, step sisters and step mother.

I tried getting ADR's for our upcoming trip and couldn't get them... I guess it amy have been a good thing.:)

Have breakfast ADR for taking granddaughter for 1st WDW trip. Is it all meals that are bad, or just the dinner, not sure from reading the responses? Thanks

We enjoyed breakfast there, but it has been a couple of years ago. All adults and we got plenty of character time, food was good.
So...DH and I decided to try dinner there last Nov. It was terrible.
We had ADRs and still waited over 45 minutes to be seated. It was dirty in there. There were kids laying all around on the floor....so much so we had a hard time walking by them to get to the buffet....which was not good at all.
The characters were fun, at least the ones we got to see, but we only got to see the stepsisters......
We won't be going back.

I went there in August and I did not like it--it used to be one of my favorites. I just didn't like the food as much last time. We are not going back for dinner during our next trip.

DD hated the food here when we went in May. I'm not even sure what it was about the food that she hated, but she did. I think there were a lot of salad-type items on the bar. However, she LOVED the characters. I didn't find the food repulsive, but it wasn't fantastic. I asked her again if she wanted to go back here and she asked if we could see the Step Sisters and Step Mother somewhere else. I told her No, I don't believe so. She has declined to go back but said she'd leave the choice to me if I wanted to still go. There are so many other places that I want to try, I think we'll skip it this time.

We ate there for the first time in February. The character interaction was fantastic - the food was terrible. All they had on the kids buffet was cold pizza and macaroni with red sauce. My 4 y/o DD will eat any pizza - except this one. The only good things on the adult buffet were the carved beef and the pasta. Very disappointing!

Well, we were there last September, and it was BY FAR the favorite of everyone in our group (ranging from 2.5yo to 64yo). The characters were beyond compare IMO. We all also liked the food a good bit. We also ate dinners at Chef Mickey's (good) and Crystal Palace (meh) that trip, and 1900 PF is the ONLY one that my dh, father, AND mother requested be back on the list for our upcoming Christmas trip.

So, I just take reviews with a grain of salt. Most on here love CP, and it was our least favorite (by characters and food alike). I've read lots of unhappy reviews from 1900PF and we adored it. C'est la vie!

We went there last July. While I can't say it was our favorite meal, I can't remember anything particularly bad about it either. Certainly no one in my family complained. Character interaction was very good.

We were also disappointed in the service and the interaction - DD 12 - so she's outgrown characters according to characters - I've read how snide the Stepmother can be and was looking forward to a little conversation, but the only one that really stopped and talked was the Prince...

the food was just so so - but I had ordered a cake and it took 45 min for the servers to bring it out - and I think she just waited till dh left to go to the bathroom before bringing it out!

DD and Dh really dont care for this buffet, it was my favorite! So no more for us! (Prime Rib is a bit salty, but I think it depends) the salads that sit out under the lights tend to be a bit dry, the cold salads are fine... desserts are the same desserts you get at any other Disney Buffet... :confused3

Our table (we're a party of 3) was sitting facing the servers doorway to the kitchen - yuck! I also felt sorry for the larger parties that sat by the doors in and out of this buffet area...

I'm a picky eater, as is dd, we're both convinced the food and atmosphere is better at Boma...

shocks me!
