Just wondering if DW and I are alone in our devotion to eating as much table service as we can for lunch and dinner (and the occasional breakfast).

We love the chance to get inside (out of the heat), relax a bit, and drink as much (free) water as we want instead of buying more bottles.

Yes, it takes a lot of time, but we just schedule more days to visit what we want to visit. In my opinion, it makes everything seem more laid back.

So, anyone else like us or am I missing out because we take too much time to eat table service?

My family and I are just like yours. :) We love to take a time out from the hustle and bustle. This is why we are so excited about the Deluxe Dining Plan that will start to be offered in 2008...3 TS meals per day/per person :cool1: My DH is ecstatic :thumbsup2

We're with you. It makes the trip so much more enjoyable, taking the time in the middle of the day to sit back, relax, and not hurry up to wait in lines.

Yes, we love TS for breakfasts and another for dinner. We are leaving in 9 days and have a TS place booked for breakfast for all 6 days and 3 TS dinners booked too. There are a few CS places that we have to have and with the F&W going on I want to make sure I dont miss out on anything!!

We love TS, it is a nice break from the day. I love the food when we are in Disney, and it sure is nice not to cook. I am with you gotta have plenty of TS meals.

Wow, I will have to look into the deluxe dining plan. That sounds perfect!

Where do you schedule all of these TS breakfasts? And with breakfast every day do you miss early park visits?

We are planning on that for our 1st dinsey trip next may!!!! we have TS planned for ALMOST every meal... and will plan our park adventures around that... :) we will be there 9 days so should have plenty of park time... we are going to relax and enjoy everything the parks have to offer....

We've been many times and frankly, the restaurants are almost as important as the parks. Once our AP is up, we will seriously consider the Deluxe plan. We eat early lunches & dinners & dinner is quite often a 2point restaurant, so this will be perfect.:cool1:

We also love the TS. Never feel like we miss park time, as we feel so refreshed after sitting and relaxing we nearly never go to the room. We have been on many of the Dining offerings over the years, and until the latest incarnation of the DDP, had rarely eaten at any counter service restaurants. We make late Breakfasts, so get emh riding in, and early dinner, to avoid the heat and crowds of the parks.

we do almost exclusively TS for lunch and dinner and eat b'fast in the room (with one sit down b'fast/week which DFi does for me b/c he doesn't eat b'fast)
I plan to evaluate our trip next week and see how much we are spending on avg at lunch and dinner to see if it is worth it to purchase the deluxe dining plan next year; for example, we won't eat an app or dessert at lunch, and prob. won't even eat dessert at dinner every night. However, if we can eat at the signature restaurants on the deluxe plans w/out giving up a meal (since we wouldn't be using a b'fast credit) then I could imagine it would be beneficial

We're TS fans also. Other than a few breakfast spots, we haven't been to a WDW counter service or buffet in many years.

I agree. There is something special about Disney restaurants that you don't get elsewhere...and those you can get elsewhere we don't bother with at Disney.

We alternate on trips. This trip was an eating trip for DH and I. It was for our anniversary and we had free dining. :cool1: We went mainly to DINE! It was wonderful.

We did many things at the parks but our schedule was planned around our TS for the day and sometimes also around a good CS.

Next trip I am taking my active but in their 90's parents and we will have a nighttime fireworks show agenda. Everything will be planned with making sure we do not miss Illuminations or Fantasmic. Wishes will be scheduled in if we can. I wish AK had a big nighttime affair once in a while! Big TS are important on this trip but they can not interfere with fireworks! :confused3 :rotfl:

Disney dining can be so much fun!

What I started doing, especially when my kids would rather sleep than get up early...I booked TS breakfasts for each park before it opened (we've done CRT, CP, Donald's, MGM at 8am) :cool1: so that we are there before opening, had a great breakfast and are ready to go at opening. Again we always stay onsite and go back mid day for a swim, nap and a snack. And then we are all ready for a hearty TS dinner. I was there 3 weeks ago with my DD who's 26 and she asked how come we don't have any breakfasts planned...they always looked forward to them (even when they would grumble at getting up early). Until we started doing the free DDP a few years ago we very seldom did a CS. So we love TS and like a PP we are deciding about the DDDP for next year. We just love Cali and all of the 2 credit places that it really makes sense to think about that plan

We love Cape May, Kona, Crystal Palace, Boma (new to us on this trip) these are favorites of ours and do not mind repeating them on our trips, especially Kona. We make reservations for the first times open...usually right at 8am or earlier. We also like Donalds and Norway but do not need to do the on every trip. We have never missed a park opening because of breakfast, since we are 2 adults we eat kinda quick.

We will not go back to 1900 Park Faire, Concourse or Spoodles breakfast, they are terrible.

I am calling every day to try and get into Chef Mickeys but no luck as of yet.

Thanks! I am going to save this list. I've heard bad things about Spoodles breakfast....definitely going to avoid that one....and with so many other of your recommendations....probably will avoid 1900 and Concourse too!

We are TS junkies, too! Just look at my signature below. :thumbsup2

We also love TS on our trips. It's great to have down time and A/C.
